Anyway, Adrianne Curry is my type of woman, pro-active toward a resolution to an injustice that's been looming in this country for far too long and not afraid to show it…..legalize it already, screw the pharmaceutical company lobbyists! I want to be able to go into a "weed store" and buy it like you would buy coffee from a gourmet coffee shop…..Weed today maybe stronger, but I miss the global variety that use to be.

I honestly think all of you who voted yes to legalize it would reconsider that choice once you see a pot head baby. My boyfriends mother gave birth to her 3 son and it was addicted to pot, I've never seen a baby in so much pain. A child should not have to be brought into this world going through withdrawl. Thank God they took all of her kids away.

Yes, it should be legal. Besides all of the reasons presented by other posters (less harmful than alcohol, the government could tax it and bring in more revenue, etc.), there's my number one reason — because the government should have NO RIGHT to tell me what I can and cannot do to my body, including what to put in it. It's MY body, and the government does not own it. No one else owns it, either; so for other people to try to use the police power of government to TELL me how to live MY life is just unfair, unfree, and WRONG!
I would like to share something, she is such a laid back person she not all about herself like most celebs. I think you should back off, shes a celeb that u can walk up to and have a conversation with, how many celebs would do that without the body guards pushing you off.

Pot is not dangerous as in life-threatening but is very dangerous in terms of mental health. The more you smoke pot the more you are at risk of developing mental disorders later on in life. A friend of mine used to work as a phychologist in a clinic; about 90% of the patients she saw had smoked pot at some stage in their lives.
Having said that, I just can't believe excessive alcohol consumption and tobacco smoking are still legal!

I don't smoke pot but I do know the benefits weed does have. Medical Marijuana for example does work. I know people living with HIV and marijuana does work. The medication doctors give them make them sick but they must take it to survive. Weed gets rid of nausia and for those that are wasting, it gives them an appetite. Works great for migranes. Again I dont smoke weed but do think there's many benefits. Just because the government says it's illegal, it doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Government ok alcohol and what benefits are there to drinking alcohol. NOTHING. And just because marijuana is legal, that's not going to make someone want to try it. I want to know how she stays so thin and smokes pot. I had to quit cuz i put on so much weight. I was a big pothead though. Just like drinking, weed is OK if you smoke in moderation. That is a slippery slope and if you smoke too much like i did, you will find your self with some serious short term memory problems, unmotivated aka lazy, and fat. Just 5 weeks pot free and i lost almost 10 lbs already. I would rather look hot than be high.

It may have some advantages like relaxing etc (remember there is always yoga, lol)… but there are many disadvantages too, mostly to do with the high frequency of mental disorders. So if you ever suffer from psychosis, flashbacks, delusions, depersonalization, hallucinations, paranoia, depression symptoms don't blame it just on your genes. lol
And if it was legalised same rules should apply as with alcohol. I wouldn't want to share the road with a driver who was high or be operated by a surgeon who has smoked a joint or two.

Me and my hubby smoke everyday and have for over 30 years as do all of out friends which are all professionals. Instead of getting drunk on martinis and have a hell of a hangover the next day we have pot parties…Oh what fun and no after effects. We have tripled our income in that time and enjoyed doing it. Whoever says that pot makes you lazy hasent tried the good stuff. I enjoy my work smoking rather than hating to do it straight Try it you might like it. I will say that the kiddies need to leave it alone, Make it illegal before 21.

It should be legal. I'm not going to lie, I've tried it a few times, and I can definitely say it has never fucked me nor my friends up nearly as bad as alcohol has. In fact, alcohol is SO much worse when it comes to being under the influence of one or the other. So if people are allowed to drink and kill themselves with yucky cigarettes, why not legalize weed?

A family member of mine is suffering from both Glaucoma and is recovering from Cancer. The pressure in her eyes is SO BAD, that she is losing her vision. Medicine is not working. She has had two laser surgeries, which have proven to be only a band aid on the disease. She is now facing major surgery… with no promise of helping her eyes at all… she may lose her vision completely if she goes under the knife. She just started smoking a couple months ago and felt an improvement IMMEDIATELY! I have a Cop who is a good friend, and he said that he never pulled over a "high" person who gave him trouble. He tells them to pull over, sleep it off, and be on their way. They oblige. Most times, when he pulls over an intoxicated person, there is an arrest involved; they are very violent. The only reason it is not legal is that the government can't tax it because it is a plant. They benefit far better with all these unnecessary arrests and money made in that manner. I think that with the price of oil, and many other Government issues, it's time to make our own decisions. They need to be overthrown…

I have it is a painful gut wrenching death for the person sick and all those in their lives. If I could have got them to smoke week instead of leagally drinking the alchohol they would still be here. Why not if alcohol is legal with its extreme addictiveness and harm it does to the body? Marijuana can help you unwind without hitting your wife, wrecking your car, or needing rehab or a liver transplant. Imagine the money the government could make off of taxing it!

I'm a strong supporter of marijuana, but it gets a bad rap.
herb alone can be magnificent, either for fun or its healing properties.
I'd love for it to become legal, but the problem lies with people who abuse it; ie., drinking alcohol and smoking the 'chem' drugs (meth/crack) along with it,
as this can seriously lessen the effects and render the user mentally or physically suffering from a difficult chemical imbalance.
That said,
I have fibromyalgia, (a sleep disorder/muscle fatigue syndrome) and without the wonders of cannabis, I'd never sleep at night.
