The hasbeen singer was scheduled to perform on CBS' Early Show but she stormed off and started screaming up a storm.
Apparently, there were some technical difficulties during her sound check and that "set her off."
Instead of waiting for the issues to be fixed, Cyndi just left - without performing.
So lame!

I can't believe that 25 years later, Perez wants to compare Cyndi to Madonna. I think it's pretty obvious that Madonna went down one path and Cyndi went down another. Madonna has chosen to follow the commercial route - constantly chasing bigger and better success (and good luck to her). Cyndi chose to write and produce music that kept her "true to herself" - often at the expense of commercial success (the record company pressured her to release "She's So Unusual 2 and 3 and 4, etc… but she wouldn't.
Cyndi has a lot of great music out there - you only have to search for it.
The easy way to see if Cyndi is really a "Has Been", is to listen to her new dance cd BRING YA TO THE BRINK. I think it is brilliant but you judge for yourself.
