Dear Nick Hogan

Filed under: Legal Matters > Nick Hogan

nickhogan.jpg

Your bitching and crying in jail makes us ill!

Look at this video.

It's footage of the 'life' your 'best friend' lives now and it's so so sad.

Nick, it was your recklessness that sentenced your 'friend' to that 'life'.

You are lucky to be alive and healthy.

Shut your mouth. Do your time. We hope never to hear of your whining again.

ok here is my opinion mini hulk and the coma guy were like best friends so he knew exactly how nick was behind the wheel and all though it is not right I am sooooo sure that grown ass man had the chance to say he didnt want to ride with him he made the choice to support nicks drinking and speeding decisions and put himself in danger my point is nick in no way shape or form wanted his friend to get fucked up and be in a coma off the decisions he made but we are all ready to lynch mini hulgan I dont even like him but that is a weight and barrier that he is going to carry now and I know that the guy in the coma I dont remember his name but I bet he would not want nick in jail or going thru this at all he made the decision to get in the car

Perez- thanks so much for providing this clip. Everyone out there needs to see this. Nick should be thankful that he's even alive. He needs to quit his bitching about his incarceration and remember that he got the good end of this deal.

I lost my brother to an idiot driving behind the wheel of a car drunk. Doing sumthing stupid he hit my brother who was in our driveway at home walking to the mailbox. I have no sympathy for Nick Hogan and what he is going through. I actually think he got a slap on the wrist. I watched my brother die with injuries from a driver as irresponsible as Nick. He better take what he got as a blessing. He could have gotten far worse than the punishment he has now. And my heart goes out to that family completely.

that video is heartbreaking. the Hogan family sucks. Hulk and Linda think they have it bad with a son in jail, they need a dose of reality and look at what the Graziano family is going through right now.

Of course he feels bad! Perez I like you but lately you are just a complete jerk! The family gave their home video of their soon to Nancy Grace only for attention! ISNT THAT A LITTLE ODD! AND what makes you think that the 23 year old friend John didn't buy the alcohol for his 17 year old friend? And im sure he knew he was drunk when he got in the car and let his friend drink and drive! That does not mean he deserved what happned to him but Nick is not the only one to blame!

    Re: REALIRe: MBM
You people need to look up the definition of accident in a dictionary. True collisions CAN happen under those unlawful conditions, but they're not GUARANTEED to happen. Not saying that it's okay to do so, but people speed and drink and drive all the time without a collision occurring. Yeah we don't know what was going on inside the car before the crash, but the crash wasn't intentional. The crash wasn't planned. The crash wasn't deliberate and desired. Speeding, drinking, no seatbelt, regardless of all those high-risk reckless irresponsible conditions it was still an accident. And just in case you don't have a dictionary handy, one definition is "an unexpected usually sudden event that occurs without intent or volition although sometimes through carelessness, unawareness, ignorance, or a combination of causes and that produces an unfortunate result (as an injury)"

If I'm not mistaking….didn't Nick's friend make his OWN choice to get into the car with Nick? I'm sure Nick didn't force him into the car. That was his decision.

    Re: Aimee
I understand that they both made poor choices that day. The difference is that Nick is "paying his price" like a little bitch. John may have not done the smart thing by getting in the car, but the price he is now paying is far too high. Nick is sitting in jail, doing his time, and crying about it. Their sentences are far from even. It would be one thing if Nick and his family had remorse and took their 8 months with some kind of dignity and responsibility. It's the fact that they are bitching about it that gives them such a bad rep.

The worst part is that in 5 years, Nick will have moved on with his life and all of this will be behind him, while John will be exactly as he is now. Is that justice? All because he chose to get in a car with his friend? I don't think so.

a few day ago after a wedding a young guy and other tuck me to my metro station and has a horrbile experience he is 21 driving like 145 in the hw in residencial zone was at 90 on the cell phone and pass 3 lights the only person who have a bell was me I told them to pls slow down and use the bell and they told me is our life so there you go.. one finish in a cell and the other in coma but that is his own fault

  18. Mimi says – reply to this

    218

It's very sad, but people need to take responsibilty for their own actions! John knew what Nick was doing, he got in the car because he wanted to!

Nick is partially at fault, but John is just as guilty for getting in that car! For John's family, it will obviously be easier to place all the blame on Nick.

Re: andre – Oh please who is this, brooke hogan? He should feel horrible, he should have this slammed over his head ever damn day of his life, because John will probably never have a normal life again, and Nick can walk around and function and think and do everything a normal human being can! How sorry can he feel when he spends sooo much time whining like a little bitch? That whole family is messed up, and now everyone can see. He deserves nothing, and needs to stop his bitching. I wouldn't wish what he did to anyone

  20. NICOL says – reply to this

    220

NICK IS ALIVE AND HEALTHY BECAUSE HE CARES ENOUGH ABOUT HEALTH AND LIFE TO WEAR HIS SEATBELT. JOHN APPARENTLY THOUGHT LITTLE OF THE TWO SECONDS IT TAKES TO CLICK THE SEATBELT ON TO PROTECT HIMSELF. I AM SURE HE WOULD GIVE AWAY THOSE TWO SECONDS TO GET THE PROTECTION A SEATBELT WOULD HAVE GIVEN HIS BODY, BUT YOU HAVE TO PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN AN ACCIDENT WILL HAPPEN, BUT JOHN DID NOT CARE ABOUT SAFETY ENOUGH TO WEAR HIS SEATBELT. TRUST ME, I WISH HE HAD. I WISH HE WAS LIVING A LONG HAPPY HEALTHY LIFE, BUT HE IS IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE HE WAS NOT PROTECTED BY A SEATBELT. NICK WORE HIS SEATBELT, AND HE IS ALIVE AND HEALTHY. I THINK PEOPLE NEED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS MAJOR DIFFERENCE, BUT FEW TAKE THE TIME TO TRULY ANALYZE WHAT HAPPENED IN THAT CAR THAT DAY.

Agreed! I saw the Hulkster on Larry King Live too. He came off as such a jerk. He should be charged with contributing to the deliquency of a minor for buying the alcohol. If it was any other average adult, they would have been charged with contributing.

Perez, YOU shut YOUR mouth. I am sick of your hypocrisy. If it wasn't Nick driving it would have been the other kid, everyone KNOWS that. They were both at fault it is just unfortunate that one of them got hurt as bad as he did. If he wasn't in a coma, he would be in jail too, you can't keep placing blame on one person because they aren't in a coma. You are an idiot perez and don't know shit, quit preaching about peace, love, etc when you encourage the opposite. Ass hole.

I cant stand that little bitch Nick Hogan, he sits there and whines in COUNTY Jail. I mean his family gets to see him 3 times a week, and he gets to watch TV. And his friend is basically on the verge of death. That video totally broke my heart, the Hogans are only saying that they have recieved death threats so that the American public can feel sorry for them, and to lift the negative press off of them! Boycott the Hogans, even though I know millions will probly tune into his show!

Give me a fucking break. Yes it's sad about what happened to his friend, but his friend knew that Nick had been drinking. They both made a tragic mistake and both are paying for it.
The way people judge in here scares the shit out of me. It's like people think they are perfect and have the right to pass judgement because it's trendy. What about compassion? The lemming mentality is depressing.

Its absolutely heartbreaking to know that Nick Hogan took his friend's life, because of a stupid decision to drink and drive.

In my opinion his sentence was far too lenient, he should be imprisoned for life.

    235

John Graziano was 23 ( I believe) at the time of the accident. He was a grown man, a war veteran, and a guy who should make safe decisions.

He chose to get into a car and not wear a seatbelt, get into a car with an underage driver who had been consuming alcohol, and get into a car with someone who has been a notoriously dangerous driver.

Nick Hogan deserves jail time and a lifetime of grief for his bad decisions. But John Graziano made some bad decisions and has paid dearly for it since the moment the accident happened. We all pay for the decisions we make.

  36. Sad says – reply to this

    236

So so sad. Nick Hogan should rot in jail for a lot longer. He gave this man a life sentence. He deserves the SAME!

  37. Karil says – reply to this

    237

Do you guys think Nick feels good about this? I would never defend him, because that video makes me feel sick and I feel so bad for that kid and his family. Let me ask you this… how many times do people drive while intoxicated? Many, many times. This happens ALL THE TIME. Now Nick has to live with guilt because he did something stupid, something stupid that people do every single day. We all know he's learning his lesson and I agree he deserves his jail time, but he isn't a monster. He is a kid who made a bad error in judgment and now has to deal with the consequences of that decision he made for the rest of his life.

  38. other says – reply to this

    Re: argue

That's right because the other car that was racing didn't crash. What about those people that were racing them? No one's taking their part in this whole incident into consideration. No one's saying they shouldn't have been racing. Why, because they didn't crash? Nick's stupid for drinking and speeding and then crashing, but the people in the other car who were also speeding and possibly drinking, they're not stupid or reckless or irresponsible because they didn't also crash? No harm (to them) no foul?

    244

Let me first say, this is super sad and tragic and I'm sure the Hogans are a bit out of touch. Everyone in that Hollywood world is. But the thing is John does share some responsibility in getting in the car with him and not putting on his belt. What about friends aren't supposed to let friends drive drunk? Was the victim drinking? I don't know that, but there's been many times I've turned down a ride from someone who had been drinking- never mind someone who was going to race.

  45. yeah says – reply to this

    245

On interviews the lawyer, hulk and police officers said nick was not past the legal limit for alcohol. altho there was alcohol found in the car. Nick was not past the legal limit. Therefore, it wasn't like he was smashed and purposely smashed into a tree. When your younger you never think bad things can happen to you. Nick made a mistake. Obviously. we all know that but john and him were best friends and john was even living with them at certain points. I understand how incrediably heartbreaking johns current stage is, however, nick has to wake up everyday knowing what he did to his best friend.

Actually, his dad (Hulk Hogan) bought alcohol that very day, took it on a boat, Nick and John were on that boat all day. They left in the late afternoon/evening and the accident happened that night. It is horrible what happened but for you to blame the accident victim for partially creating this is horrible of you.

  55. geekb says – reply to this

    255

I've never commented on your site before, but I agree completely with your statements. Nick Hogan is a fucking bitch with an overinflated sense of entitlement that was unfortunately handed down to him by his parents. He deserves to rot in prison.

  56. bunse says – reply to this

    256

A way to distract people from what he's done is to play the victim card. Then we're supposed to start feeling sorry for this asshole, and forget what a douchebag he is.

I'm surprised that he didn't inherit any balls from his old man (maybe Brooke got 'em all). Shut the fuck up, Nick, and take it like a man. Even if "it" is up the ass in the shower room. Having made your bed, quit whining and lie in it.

  57. Chris says – reply to this

    257

    Re: Dan
Don't say things that are complete bull shit. If this were 'normal' everyday people and a 22 year old was hospitalized for having traumatic brain injury, people would still blame the 17 year old. John isn't Nick's dad and he's not his babysitter, Nick is 17 years old, he knew what he was doing. He knew that he had drank some alcohol during the day, he knew that he shouldn't be driving, he knew that if he got in that car there is a chance that someone could get hurt or killed. If he didn't know that it wasn't John's job to teach him that stuff, it's his parents job. Stop blaming this on John saying it's partially his fault. You are just as bad as his parents who didn't teaching Nick right from wrong.

  58. 258

Can I bring up the FACT that Nick should have blown or had a blood test for alcohol come back at .00 because he is 17; he is not 21, which is the LEGAL drinking age?

Sure, John got into the car, and did not put on his seatbelt, but when did anyone say he KNEW that Nick was going to be streetracing? No one but Nick and John know what went on inside the car prior to the accident. Besides, Nick said he wasn't speeding and slippery roads were the cause of the accident.

How can the Bollea (Hogan) family want to profit from this tragedy (Nick's Real-ality show) and talk badly about the victim and his family ("God laid some heavy **** on him."? Shut up!

They've been to the hospital; they've seen the condition and quality of John Graziano's life. Does being a celebrity cause you to lose that much of a touch with reality? They should be thankful that it isn't Nick in the hosital bed, with a hole (and hole doesn't describe John's injury - its a baseball size crater) in his head.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about the Bollea's and I've never met the Graziano family. Their lives don't affect mine - I'm just a regular person, with compassion and empathy for the victim. Seeing the picture of John, then the video of him on Nancy Grace, made me cry. He's never going to get married, have children, get to call his mom and dad and say, "I love you." He's in his own prison until whenever God sees fit to take him.

I had respect for the hogans even after the accident, until i saw this video. The Hogans are bitching and crying cause their "baby" has to spend 8 months in jail. He deserves so much worse….try life in jail. He doesnt deserve to even see daylight again. At least after the accident he can still feed, dress and go to the bathroom himself. He can still have a family, and go about as nothing happened. So dont bitch cause your getting threatning phone calls from Johns family. Cause if i was in this position youd be getting alot worse! The hogan family is scum….and its not just johns family that wants you gone!!!

Totally agree with previous posts. Yes, Nick is an idiot and made a big mistake and for what it's worth still probably won't learn his lesson. At the same time his friend chose to get in the car with him and in all likelihood knew he had been drinking and that he liked to drive recklessly. It is unfortunate that his friend has to pay such a high price for his bad choices, but still they are his bad choices and that's life.

  69. Kate says – reply to this

What he did is absolutely apauling. That video of his friend broke my heart in every way possible. I really hope that the court will give him the maximum punishment he can get, and that our justice system will make him pay for what he did.

    270

    Perez,
Do you know if Nick Hogan has paid his friend a visit? Has he extended his hand in help or showed remorse by letting the family know he would be there for him. Nick should be taking his friend to therapy a couple of times a week. When Nick gets out of jail this is what I would like to see him do. Possibly be a spokesperson for this rage driving and drunk driving. Also, Nicks family should be there for that other family. They should be acknowledging this poor young man and they should be taking part in organizations that help drunk driving or this fast driving whatever its called that allegedly nick took part in.

I agree with Perez! This is so tragic…we all know that drinking and driving is inexcusable. Why do people still do it? Because they truly only give a rats ass about themselves at that moment….they think they are sooo cool and grown up. Being a grown up means being responsible and not thinking the world revolves around you!

What the little shit, Nick Hogan has done to his "friend" and on-going slap in the face to his "friends" family is sickening. His whining and complaining is beyond sickening. In my opinion, I hope he learns a harsh lesson in jail…he's a bitch and should be treated as one. I understand his parents being there for him, but they should have taught him responsibily, trust, care, friendship, loyalty when he was a kid and maybe he wouldn't have turned out to be the piece of shit that he is. Take your punishment like a man! And for that matter, you got off easy.

if nick hogan was the one who was seriously hurt and the friend was the one that was ok, everyone would be hating on the friend for buying the alcohol. its a tragic accident but both of them chose to get in that car

What an all time low you've hit, Perez, to show that X@#$% Nancy Grace on your blog. I NEVER thought I'd see the day. What are you now, a christian conservative FOX news freak? So now you're siding with that piece of @#$%? And by the way, Nick's "friend" was an adult who was hanging out with a teenager. He @#$%'d up his OWN life, not Nick. And lastly, why in the hell is his family exploiting his situation? For $$$$$? I bet if he were aware, he'd be mortified and pissed as hell.

My feelings are that the biggest victims in this incident now are the family of John, who are now burdened for the rest of their lives, or the rest of John's life anyway, being the caretakers of this extremely disabled individual. Mistakes were made all around, and John and Nick aren't the only ones suffering the consequences.

Honestly, I do not agree with Nick's bitching and moaning… but I am firm believer in free will. If his friend got in his car knowing that they may race, then he has to deal with the consequences. It's like suing someone for making you pregnant even though you told me them it was ok not to wear a condom. You make your bed… and as cold as this may sound, he knew Nick's tendency to race. Now, Nick should be in jail for street racing and causing harm… but I am sick of everyone making it just his fault. His friend made his choice, and sadly he is now an example of how dangerous street racing or just racing for that matter can be.

I feel so sorry for the victim and his family.
It is sad that media attention can be so fleeting and that not enough attention is given to people who choose to drive drunk.

In regards to the Hogan family. Mr. Hogan is a has been and it is amazing how even relatives of has beens can get famous and make money(brook hogan, ect.).

In this case though, I am glad that Perez is around. A lot of these news stories are not easily accessible. I have no knowledge of what that kind of pain that must be like, but by seeing that I have an idea.

Nick Hogan is a scumbag and will never know just how painful that poor man's life is because of his reckless carelessness and how difficult he has made the lives of the victim's family(financially, emotionally, socially).

There is a difference between an accident and making the choice to get in your car while intoxicated. Honestly, we have all heard the stories of how many people die each year and to give some lame excuse of it all being a horrible accident is rediculous and makes a mockery of the victim's family's situation.

He should be lucky that all he gets to do is complain in a jail cell somewhere for some limited amount of time.

The victim and his family will have to suffer FOREVER.

Nick Hogan is no Angel and I agree that he should do jail time, but the family of the victim should stop whoring out their child. And there's a little lesson to be learned……..wear your freakin seatbelt! They save lives!

i think they should just be left alone…. everyone would be just as scared if it was your first time in jail. i know he messed up for drinking and driving. i know that guy in the hospital was his b/f, the b./f knew he was into racing… i mean c'mon we allllll saw it on season 1 of hogans know best. if me & my friends were drinking i definitly would not get into the car when the driver was drinking and is known for loving speed. and the leaked phone calls… thats just wrong… thats personal… u guys call him a bitch but ALL men cry their first time in jail!!!!!!!!!! just leave them alone… we got more important things to worry about.. like those poor people in IOWA that lost their home to the flood.

Please. It isn't just Nick's fault. John didn't have to get into the car. People are only complaining because he is injured. If nothing happened to him this wouldn't even be a topic. I think people are quick to feel sorry because of the situation he is in. But NO ONE put a gun to his head to be in the car in the first place.

    289

Perez-Z that is so messed up. Let you tell you about DUIs… when you drink you DECIDE to impair you judge. Everyone knows what alcohol can do. When take that first sip of alcohol… you are making a CONCIENCOUS DECIDE TO IMPAIR YOUR JUDGEMENT! I am not saying not to drink alochol. But if you do drink…. you better know you are DECIDING TO IMPAIR YOUR JUDGEMENT and you better make sure you DECISION DOESNT HURT ANYONE. There is no excuse for DRUNK people. ZERO excuses. How many DUI DEATHS do their have to be before people can WISING UP. Honestly its not that hard to set up an ENVIRONMENT where you can DRINK SAFETLY. Nick Hogan, I know you DIDNT WANT to HURT your friend… but you DECIDED to put the ODDS AGAINST your friend's SAFETY. So Nick SERVE you PUNISHMENT AND SHUT THE FUCK UP! I know you might think that your FRIEND PROVIDE you the ALOCHOL so you think you dont DESERVE all the BLAME.. but you know what, THAT IS LIFE… OUR COURTS cant punish BRAIN DAMAGED people… so if you were looking for someone to GO DOWN with youl… you should have gotten DRUNK. Your friend didnt FORCE you to get DRUNK.. so it was STILL YOU DECISION TO GET DRUNK REGARDLESS OF WHO GAVE YOU THE ALCOHOL.

that video was so sad. it takes two to tango, but nick should have been more responsible since he was the one driving. and then after the fact, he can't even take responsibility for his actions. it just shows what a little bitch he really is. like, he can't even take his little, and i mean little jail sentence as a man. lets just go crt to my pedifile mommy and daddy…….i hope that he gets sued for everything he has and that he doesn't have a pot to pee in when he gets out and that he actually has to get…dare i say…A JOB!!!!

You don't think it's suffering for the rest of your life to know what you did to your best friend? I mean if he's not a sociopath, he has a conscience and this will be with him the rest of his life. Very bad all around. Dont drink and drive, don't race, don't get in car with someone who does those things, and wear your seatbelt. I bet some of the people who are being so judgmental have not been angels all their lives. Lucky is all.

i hope everyone realizes that shit like this happens all the time. not just to the "hogans" and the grazianos. kids end up like this after doing stupid shit all the time. kids end up like john by just driving down the road and hitting a patch of black ice and hitting a car. the only reason you, perez, and all the other media outlets pick at nick is cause he's part of a famous family. everyone is a victim in this case. do you really think nick won't think of john everday of his life for the rest of his life? do you really think he won't feel a burden and know that he is the reason for his friends condition. everyone just needs to let it go and let the families deal with it. there's a lot of pain involved in this situation, for everone. stop writing about it please. just let it be.

I thought the same thing about Prez posting a Nancy Grace video. kind of iroic being that she's so conservative with her views. Anyway, this situation could have ended several ways and the way it did is really unfortuate for everyone. If he would have worn his belt, it may be different. I'm sure Nick didn't want this to happen to his friend. What if he would have only gotton slightly injured? The fact is there is some responsibility that lies with John. It's just that people see him in that state and they think it's all Nick. It's funny how the human mind works. Maybe it lies a bit more with Nick because he was the one driving, but John got in the car with him. I'm sure he knew they weren't going to Dairy Queen to get an ice cream cone.

I do not understand why Nick Hogan is not in more trouble??? Jail, ok, but he should be paying for this poor boy's medical expenses and the loss of his quality of life. Believe me, if it were the other way around, the Hogan's would be hiring the most prestegious and pit-bull attorneys to go after them.

Karma is a bitch Nick. I pitty you and your family!

John was drinking and he was NOT wearing a seat belt which is agasinst the law. Maybe just maybe if he had a seat belt on he would be at home today. He was the adult in the car with a 17 year. In our state he is the person who is responsible for the driver and how they are driving, he would have lost his licence in our state. There are two people to blame. Just because he has served 2 terms for the USA does not make him prefect. Have you ever heard "IT TAKES TWO"

You are a jackass. Shut the fuck up and do your time.

I think you should be forced to sit in solitary and watch this video 24/7 for the length of your incarceration.
