For those of you aged 20 or younger, she's a hasbeen who is best known for her role as an MTV VJ back in the day and now she mainly works as a presenter on the Game Show Network.
Well, Kennedy was on the Fox News Channel this morning and she said that the Jonas Brothers make her want to vomit.

Even though Kennedy sucked Vanilla Ices' ass on some Surreal Life program, probably so he wouldn't go insane and rip out her uterus, I think she has some very valid points. The Jonas Bros are dorks, if I were 15 I would be listening to Iggy Po, just like I did at 15 and still do now.
Okay, I watched the clip, and really, vomitous is being generous.

You know what? This is so irritating. Since when do you have to be Christian to be a good role model? Uh, come on now. There are good Christians and bad Christians and Christians in the middle… just like everyone else. Why the fuck do the Jonas Brothers get to shove their religious shit down the world's throats? I have a question… In which song(s) do they mention Jesus, Christianity, purity or anything else religious? I own their CD, I've listened to it many times, and I don't remember it being religious in the least bit. I know they are Christians, but I don't think they sing about it. Or am I wrong?

Girls are becoming more and more vulnerable to guys these days and they don't know when to say no. It's funny, I was at a Claire's accessory store the other day, and looking at all the Jonas Bros. merchandise. Out of boredom i flipped through a "Jonas Bros. bio" type book..EVERYTHING in it was like, "They're inspired by the message of God"
"The Lord gave them the chance to do this," stuff like that. It's one thing to be open about being a practitioner of a certain religion, but seeing their demographic are mostly impressionable preteens, I think it invades on the morals,religion etc that their own parents and surroundings might want them to believe. In a sense it's refreshing to hear the message 'boys can abstain too" but, get real…people DO slip up. Britney made the mistake of claiming she'll wait till marriage, only to have that virginal cover blown as she grew older. Nothing wrong with that, but you have to admit, it's rather embarrassing to have to 'lose your virginity' in public. It's better to keep your mouth shut about your sex life or lack there of, If you're marketed toward teenagers.
I think if the Jonas Bros. want to remain successful and mainstream, they should try to be a bit more subtle about their personal beliefs.

I am NOT religious, but I have been a big fan of the Jonas Brothers for a long time…I have NEVER felt like they were trying to lay anything on me. Of course their faith influences their tone and style…because unlike so many young artists, they WRITE THEIR OWN MUSIC.
Anyway, it doesn't bother me more than any other artist who makes religious references in their music (um…hello…Kanye? Tons of other artists?) No one gets pissed at other types of artists for expressing their culture in their music, why should the Jonas Brothers have to repress it?
I CHOOSE to listent ot them because I like them, and their music, for myself and my family. I choose to avoid whiny faux indie, gangster rap and deathmetal. It's all about choices people. Make your own, and leave mine alone.

I took my youth group to youth camp 3 summers ago and the camp brought in the JoBros to do a mini concert. These guys were very unknown at the time and were chrisyian back then. This is what they do, not a Disney ploy. They took pics with all the girls in my group and alot of other girls from other churches. they are great guys.

I love and miss Kennedy! I hate the Jonas Brothers with a passion. I am a 24 year old female and feel for kids these days. They have the shittiest music to choose from. I did a lot of my growing up in the late 90's/early 00's and we did not have much to choose from either (Hello LFO!). I am very depressed about where the music world is going. Give me some classic rock any day of the week, but I'll pass on this "Punk Rock Trio". I love the jonas brothers. A lot of people hate them, but that's their opinion, not mine. You talk about the Jonas Brothers trying to shove Christianity down our throats, well you're just as bad. Trying to shove the message that they're gay or they won't last as virgins or that you hate them. I think they are who they are and i love the fact that they say girls are gorgeous and beautiful not sexy or hot. They have respect for women and don't treat them like dirt. They are being themsleves, maybe being a rolemodel for younger kids does have an effect on them but they were raised that way, so was I.
