Well, Kennedy was on the Fox News Channel this morning and she said that the Jonas Brothers make her want to vomit.

Good for you Kennedy. JB gives me the same urge. I love you Perez, but don't bash Kennedy for being a has been, how many past MTV VJ's do you even see around anymore? At least she's got a career for herself.
who the hell said they were punk?? there not and arent trying to be. they are good wholesome boys who respect women and actually believe in a higher power. there is no reason to be trashing them. just because they dont abuse women, talk about wanting sex and doing drugs doesnt mean there music isnt good. also no one said she has to listen to them. their music isnt necissarily directed at 20 year old has beens who are sinical bitches. these are good boys who are trying to follow what is right. everyone needs to relax because they are good boys.

Why would they choose Kennedy to speak for anything? The problem with these adults is that they don't realize, the Jonas Brothers music has no Christian messages to it, their rings weren't even public until the media started asking about it. Chris Martin's dad was a missionary and no one's persecuting him for being too Christian. Just let them be, if they mess up so be it, but that doesn't mean they can't stand for what they believe in now. People in the public eye should not have to fear the public and hide their beliefs. Ah that girl said nothing, and quite frankly I think Fox News chose her because she could represent the more liberal people in a pathetic way. well if people dont want to listen to the jonas brothers dont listen to them. there are people who like poppy happy music and then there are those who like there music to have more scandal and graphic things. this is pretty much an age old argument where taste stems from. everyone listen to what they want to listen to and shut up about it.

When she's older and wants to listen to Slayer - that's fine too. But for Kennedy, who is in her late 30's, to try to be an expert on today's current Disney music is ridiculous.

I don't think Kennedy was attacking the Jonas brothers specifically more just attacking the Disney music concept. Of course, she's not exactly who Disney is marketing to (13 year old girls). She had to take the opposing viewpoint otherwise it would have been a VERY BORING segment, wouldn't it? And she did have some good points on the American entertainment industry and hypocrisy.

After seeing their names all over the tabloids in the check-out line for months, I checked out the Jonas Brothers myspace page. That is some of the worst music I've ever heard - it makes me want to vomit as well.
Just curious, do you like these guys, or do you just get payolla to hype them? Seriously, everyone knows the way Perez chooses his targets is by how much they pay him. Otherwise worthless trash like Paris Hilton would receive as much negative coverage from your site as Avril.

And honestly, I think in ten years time, when your 15 minutes are over and you are a laughed-about has-been…many folks will have fonder emories of Kennedy.
She is free to state her opinion, but she went a little bit to far. Many parents can talk to their kids about sex and purity, but that changes once they are actually faced with it in the real world. It's nice to actually see there is hope for some kids and that they are being guided with the right decisions at heart. Maybe she is bitter so she is lashing out at them, but they have a positive message to send and I applaud them for it completely. In the end, some people just thrive on living in the lime light and since MTV kicked her to the curb she has to have people know her name some how.
