Well, Kennedy was on the Fox News Channel this morning and she said that the Jonas Brothers make her want to vomit.

I disagree with Kennedy and the way she conveyed her opinion. I am 19 years old and I think that it is very refreshing to have a teen rock/pop band who are promoting good values and good music. They are famous for their music, not for their scandels, which goes to show how good their music really is.

The Jonas Brothers' decision to wear purity rings was made when they were really young. Way before they signed with Disney. It was a personal decision they made, until the media started asking about the rings. They never said "Hey everybody! We have purity rings! Check it out!"
The press asked, and obviously the Jonas Brothers didn't lie.
This is all being blown way out of proportion and we all need to forget about it and focus on their music, which I think is great.

Kennedy and her comments are just a reflection of what our society today is like. Morals and values have become so unimportant in our society today that even if you have morals and values and decide to live by them, society itself will make you not stand by them because it will seem like they are not taking you anywhere. I am 17 years old, and I think we as a youth are in need of morals and values and role models like the Jonas Brothers are exactly what we need. You might not share their religion but morals and values and self respect is universal and thats what we need. Some people call it gay I call it politeness, self respect and self validation.
