I am really surprised at the overwhelming amount of people posting close-minded, "religious", gay-bashing posts. Who says that marriage is between a man and a woman?? God?? What if a person doesn't believe in god? No one has the right to tell another person how to live their lives. There are some things you can't change the definition of. You can't redefine an apple and make it an orange. You can't redefine sand and make it water. You can't redefine marriage and make it a union between homosexuals. It is impossible. The very definition of marriage is the union between man and woman. It have been that way since almost the beginning of human civilization. Some other countries and now two states have caved in and decided to "legally" recognize same sex marriage, and they did it because they knew that would eventually have to, or else face a fire storm of discrimination allegations. But to the overwhelming majority of people, these are not considered real marriages, just a union that must be "legally" reconized as marriage.
Its cases like these that make you realize that this decision is the right one. God Bless a couple that still wants to get married after 55 years!
