We told you guys that Lil' Wayne's new album was supposed to do well out the gates.
Well, it's done EVEN BETTER than expected!
The numbers are in and …..
The rapper's Tha Carter III sold just over one million copies its debut week, easily making it the #1 album in America.
In this day and age, NO ONE sells that much anymore.
The last album to open at a million plus was three years ago, with 50 Cent's The Massacre.
So congratulations to Lil Wayne.
Don't blow all your money on cough syrup!

Of course he sold one million. This guy is so good, his lyrics are so GOOD! Please, before someone tries to say this guy sucks, listen to his songs… and ACTUALLY listen to the lyrics… they are very powerful and clever.

to tiara - "Totally over Kayne" Man you dont know hip hop do you? How about listening to actual lyrics and not just the beat! Kayne is a way better Lyricist and produces HOT beats! Don't get me wrong lil wayne can come up with some clever lines but alot of the sh!t is him just repeating himself…
