A Slight Lead

It's close!
Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama has a narrow 5-point lead on Republican candidate John McCain, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday.
BUT, Obama holds a big early edge with the crucial swing voting blocs of independents and women.
Don't forget to register to vote!

Re: J –
That is the most intelligent and accurate post I have ever read on this site, bar none. Thank you for having and sharing some intelligence and honesty.
If any of you think there will be no war with Obama, I want whatever it is your smoking. Because it makes you retarded. And I feel like being retarded after a few minutes of reading some of these comments.
McCain would get my vote if I were American he seems so fatherly. I like McCain and I like President Bush.
Re: sexy –
Believe me, you don't want to be an American right now. And if you were, you would dislike President Bush and truly be embarassed by his lack of intelligence, his failure to admit mistakes, his inflexibility, and his complete lack of forward-thinking creative approaches to solving problems.
And, yikes, not to mention Dick Cheney. He is one scary, insensitive, secretive, and creepy robot.
So far, I have seen friends from high school, college and beyond go to Iraq. The war has shattered some of the completely.
Remember to think of the U.S. men and women fighting overseas. Our Vietnam is happening now, and the sooner we get out, the fewer homeless, broken veterans from the Iraq war we will see in the future.
VOTE!! Let your voice be heard outside of the blogosphere and make a political impact!
Re: Noria –
newsflash, there's no draft. people choose to enlist and perhaps go to war, don't think his kids will be blaming mommy and daddy. and take your mind out of the slanted bullshit once in a while, really do some research or talk to the men that care about this country- life or death isn't the problem for them, they chose to defend this country and they're proud to be doing it.
I thaught for sure most of you here would be supporting Obama. Im shocked!
I cant believe so many of you support Bush and Mccain. I wonder where you live and if you are to self absorbed to look around you and see whats really going on. Working families are struggling and now we hear school busses will have a cost to them. Since Bush has been predident childerens education has been dramatically changed, people children are dieing at war,and most of us cant hardly afford to get to work with gas prices the way they are and thats just a few things we have to worry about. why would you want to continue the same way we have been while Bush has been in office? I hope to god McCain doesnt win this election because if hes president only the rich will surrive and only the rich will be able to get to work and send their children to school among other horrible things!
