Carey's new single, Bye Bye has officially bombed!
The song drops out of the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. It slides from 19 to 23.
Bye Bye failed to make it into the Top 10!
How fast is she getting a third single out????

good, "Bye, Bye" is such a piece of SHIT!
She has such a beautiful voice and it has been wasted on the bubble gum, butterfly bullshit she has been singing for so many years. I don't waste my time anymore. She used to be unique but how she like all the other carbon copies - big sun glasses, fake breasts, too much make-up and breathy, vacuous lyrics.
wel, "bye bye" isn't much of a hit. her record label's is bein STUPID. "migrate" and "side effects" are the biggest songs off the album, the most obvious #1's, and the're releasin this stupid "bye bye" and "i'll be lovin you long time" shit.
I love the song! Mariah didn't do so well, but Madonnna did worse!

Dear Mariah, if you really want success on the charts again you need to find your "own" sound. Please, it was completely crafted to emulate the success of 'We Belong Together', but it blew up in her phony face. I'm sorry, but everything about her is forced and phony. She doesn't give a shit about anyone but herself
and her diva lifestyle. The marriage was a publicity stunt (which obviously also didn't help her failing sales). So EMC=2 is outselling Madonna by a mere 500,000 copies in the US. Madonna is still outselling Mariah WORLDWIDE and if you combine ALL the sales, Maddy's winning the album sales race, as well as single sales and CONCERT sales. I believe the EOM was a brilliant album and it deserved to sell the 5m copies it sold and the accolades it got, but sorry,
EMC=2 was a desparate attempt to copy the other album and it FAILED. It hasn't sold Nearly the amount that Emmancipation did. DO SOMETHING NEW AND ORIGINAL Mariah. We're over your current sound.

Um, that's because Mariah's peeps PAY radio to play her. That and the fact that she's in bed with the policitcal system that is U.S. Radio. That's the only reason she got to #1 with TMB. If it had been based on sales, it never would have stood a chance. Everyone knows that Mariah BUYS airplay and that's what pushes her to #1 each time. I, for one, am THRILLED that Bye Bye tanked, after her snotty comment "My next single is a ballad, Darling. I'm NOT stupid"… Um, apparently Mariah, you ARE.
