What happened to maybe, perhaps looking in to the actual PARENTING, instead of being a huge jerk about her decision for a cesarian. Giving birth naturally at the age of 17 is a very scary concept. One would hope that the picture above is photoshopped. It would be hard to believe that a magazine such as Harper's Bazaar would risk putting the naked, pregnant photo of an unmarried minor on their cover. As for those who support teenage pregnancy, great if it turned out for you, but for most it means a life of poverty and disadvantage for the mother and the child. It is a tragedy for a girl of 17 in a modern, western society to be landed with the responsibilities of bringing up a baby. There is so much in life she will miss out on. And it is a tragedy for the child to have someone so young and inexperienced in life as its mother. Being pregnant might seem all romantic, but the real work begins when the baby's home and it's YOU who has to meet its every need. Constant night feeds and sleep deprivation are hard enough when you are older and have a partner to share the load, but for a teenage girl on her own, it's not a place she should ever be…
