Despite her recent arrest for drugs, it looks like Tatum O'Neal is returning to her role as Maggie on the FX series Rescue Me.
Do people actually watch that show???
At the time of her arrest earlier this month, O'Neal had already filmed two episodes for the fifth season of the show, which is expected to premiere in the spring of 2009.
Peter Tolan, the series co-creator says "We want to bring her back, and I haven't heard anything about why she wouldn't be available to us. It's a misdemeanor, so she's not going to do time, and nobody has said to us we can't insure her or anything like that. So I'm assuming she's available to us and it's 'business as usual.'"
Yea, unless she gets busted again for cocaine and taken to jail!
Tolan adds, "We've already started to do some stuff with her that hooks into the death [of one of the characters] and where that sends her."
Even if she returns, will U still watch?

Tatum is awesome on it also. Give the woman a break, she admitted she fucked up. Sobriety is a day at a time…have you not been tempted by a donut or chocolate bar in your weight loss battle? Think about it! Your food addiction is not any different than drug addiction!…yes you are losing weight, but you have no right to judge people until you keep it off for more than a year…

This show is so awesome. The storyline is wicked good and there is boy on boy action and sexy firefighters. How are you not a fan? Denis Leary is the creator and it's pretty funny too. Rent the series from the begining and watch… you'll love it

That is my favorite show. I have a major fireman fettish. Everyone laughs at me but I think Dennis Leary is so freaking hot. Last season wasn't the greatest I'm hoping this season is better. Tatum O'Neal is great she is an alcoholic on the show so I'm sure it's not a step off from her own life, maybe that's why she's so great in that show.

"Rescue Me" is one of my favorite shows on TV. Denis Leary is awesome, and Tatum O'Neal is quite good in her role. I highly recommend the show, although it would be good for a newbie to watch the previous seasons before the next season starts on Tuesday.

Hell yes, I will watch the show. That show rocks, it is super funny and deep at the same time. Every once in a while Jesus makes an appearance, it is hilarious.
