Angelina Jolie's new movie, Wanted, hits theaters next Friday, June 27th, and the film is getting GREAT reviews.
The Hollywood Reporter glows:
The debut American feature by successful Russian director Timur Bekmambetov ("Night Watch" and its record-smashing 2006 sequel, "Day Watch"), this over-the-top, ultraviolent, hyperkinetic action thriller pretty much has it all.
That would include engagingly offbeat source material in the form of Mark Millar and J.G. Jones' comic book series, a decent adaptation by Michel Brandt and Derek Haas (last year's "3:10 to Yuma" remake) and Chris Morgan ("Cellular"), a terrific cast and jaw-dropping stunt work.
Can't wait to see it!!!!

I saw Wanted at a prescreening last night - i love ang, she's my favorite but i have to say - awful does not begin to describe it. the only people who will enjoy the movie are those who live in chicago because the movie portrays the city in a beautiful, sexy way.
as for the plot…it was as if the producers sat down and made a list of ten plot twists and then connected them with a video game. great special effects, but no story whatsoever. when i left my friends and i found ourselves saying 'what the fuck was the point of that?'

I saw it on Wed night with a critic's pass…TOTALLY ROCKED!!! The action is great and you just cant take your eyes off of Angelina-I can't wait for the Blu-Ray to come out of this just to watch the scene in the pic here again (or the one of her getting out of this tub/pool thing with nothing on-!)

I watched the Tonight show last night and saw James M. , it was so refreshing for Jay Leno NOT to bring up Jolie. It was all about James and it was a nice change.
