i started watching it, but i couldn't stand it when she started lying then i stopped.
EWWWW, DEMI LA BUTT CHIN!
ALRIGHT, JUST WATCHED THE MOVIE, AND HAD TO COME BACK TO THIS ENTRY TO MAKE MY COMMENT. I AM HERE TO WORN YOU ALL THE IT IS LITTERETLY THE WORST MOVIE I'V EVER SEEN.MAN, FOR THE FIRST PART YOU'RE LAUGHING AT EVERYONES(ESPECIALLY THE JONAS BROTHERS) ACTING, THAT NEAR THE 2ND HALK YOU JUST WANTED TO SHOOT YOURSELF, OR THROW UP OR SOMETHING. …HOW THE JONAS BROS WERE CREATING=HUNGRY T.V EXECTUTIVES, SONE LINES TO SING, AND PACAGED WITH A BOW. I never listen to reviews. Half the time I think they are completely off when they give movies poor ratings. The critics are so picky. Anyway…just watched the movie…thought it was great!
Yes, I will watch it anyways. They cant act worth shit, but they are so cute. They have a lot to learn and I look forward to seeing them do better in the future. We all have to start somewhere. Im sure perez wasnt always funny.

i watched it and i liked it well enough. i agree it wasnt as good as HSM, but the JB's are pretty good actors. i think joe did a good job, his voice is excellent.

Although I have much respect for the moneymaking machine that is Disney, Camp Rock kindof sucked, really bad. In comparison to the High School Musical, its dare i say, mediocre. The script wasn't as good, the acting wasn't all that great, and let's face it the only hook to the movie was the jonas brothers. And well, idk its just not great overall. But hey, i still watched it you know, so, eh, hahaha.

Do all of you girls realize that without the icky older people, as you call them, these guys wouldn't exist? And I'm not talking about their parents either. I'm talking about the 40 plus year olds who created the Jonas Brothers. The ones who tell them how to dress,walk, talk, what songs to sing, what they like and don't like, what things will make the little girls go crazy and give all their money to these old people. The youngest one even has a disease, doesn't he? That's an old trick, boyband 101…say the young cute one has a disease and it will melt a little girs hearts and make them spend even more of their money so that these old men can buy bigger houses, faster cars, then dump these Jonas guys as soon as the money stops rolling in and move on to the next sucker. Get a clue girls.

i'd like to disagree with you. not only are the jonas brothers great role models for young kids today. they are offering teenagers the idea that it is OK to not be a slut and have sex at young ages. not that i totally and completely agree with the whole 'until marriage' thing- cause lord knows that could take forever. just the fact that i know of some kids in my town who are in the 6th grade and they lost their virginity. the united states is one huge sex ad and its nice to see a little change, but the jobros still keep it cool and not like your sitting in a church pew.
i thought the movie was kinda lame… like honestly, it was predictable. the jonas brothers were amazing… kinda. i love them to death, but they should stick to performing on stage.. or atleast get some acting lessons. i thought the plot was good, just not how i planned it would turn out.
ya i watched this early because i have disney on demand and it sucked so bad. at points it was hard to watch and was the most predictable movie i have ever seen. at least joe jonas is a dreamboat so that is the only way i survived this hot mess.
yeah like those reviewers know what they're talking about. they're what, like 40 year old men? reviewing a movie for teeny boppers and teenagers (i'm 17 and loved it to death) so no they did not stop and i fully disagree with every bad review, i thought it was better then high school musical.
and just to add i absolutely LOVED high school musical, even went to the premiere in disneyland for hsm 2, but i was pleasantly surprised on how well the jonas brothers did in this movie.

Re: Joe – ya know what, joe? you may be too young to remember, but disney was once a name you knew would put out something truly quality…magical. they put alot of thought & creativity into their graphic films & when producing movies, they used a-list actors & actresses with stories suitable for all ages, REAL stories, a-list production all the way, classics. walt would be rolling over in his grave if he could see what they've done with his life's work & vision. it's like his death all over. sadly, disney will never be as it once was.

the movie was a DISNEY movie. but i loved it. demi is a great actress & she has so much potential. she's an amazing singer and can sing. triple threat bby! joe was of course a natural with all the music & he really got into his character. nick & kevin were supporting roles but they were so funny. if they weren't good for the movie..they wouldn't have gotten the roles. joseph auditioned just like everyone else. i loved & cant wait for the second camp rock

i am probably one of the jonas brothers biggest fans and i of course watched camp rock, and to be perfectly honest. it was such a let down. they really did not publicize it well. All of the people that were larger roles in the movie, didnt get enough attention before hand. the jonas brothers got so much attention before it and it seemed like it was going to be all about them, but really, it wasnt and it was a let down. the girl that played tess and that whole little group had such a bigger part then them and got no attention. i dont even know their real names. the songs were good though, i think better than high school musical but the acting was better in high school musical. Out of a 10 i give it a 6.5
I actually thought the plot was pretty good and it had a good lesson to be told. I think everything was too rushed in the movie and that's why some people didn't like it.

ugh the jo bros have no talent…their voices sound like whiney little babies and i literally had to turn off camp rock because the acting (joe jonas included) was painful to watch. everyone needs to get over the jo bros…just let them grown their sideburns, blow dry their hair, and wear ridiculous top hats/outfits in general in peace…STOP GIVING THESE TALENTLESS KIDS ATTENTION!
Wouldn't be caught dead watching this unless i was forced to, with or without the painful reviews, i have no plans to watch childish nonsense.

whoever thinks this movie sucks is completely STUPID. it was an awesome movie! it was way better than high school musical, trust me! it doesn't have whiney little zac efron and slutty vanessa who sings songs about sneakers. Camp Rock is one of the best movies disney has ever made!

half of it didn't even make sense, like it did but it didn't. there should have been more interaction between Joe and Demi because they talked for like a minute and then the next time he saw her he's like i wrote a song for you… it was kind of strange to say the least
me and my friends actually laughed and criticized the movie as we were watching it. it actually sucked big time, the acting was horrible, half the story line made no sense and the lipsyncing was terrible but yet i couldn't stop watching it… it was one of those movies that sucked but yet it was good at the same time only because of the jonas brothers though. if not for them i never would have watched it.

I actually really liked it. I thought it was much better thant HSM. The new Sharpay is way more talented and the music is great. It's normal that critics don't like it, they are note the target audience anyway. Who cares what adults think of it? It's not like they were supposed to.

Okay, I'm 18 years old, and watched this movie this past weekend. I have an extraordinary love for bad movies. This wasn't exactly oscar material, but come on, it's a Disney MADE FOR TV MOVIE!! How good did you really expect it to be?? I loved it, I love most bad movies. It's not like their target audience will really care anyway…..
Joe was sooooooooo hott, and I totally loved him in the movie. But Demi sucks, sucks, sucks! What an annoying little thing. She can't even sing, how is she "the next big thing"? Couldn't they have found a prettier, more talented girl? I mean, there are how many girls in the world?
And Nick and Kevin had like no part in the movie. That sucks. The JoBros are a group, they can't just make one of them more popular, it's not right.
All the movie did was make more girls like Joe, which makes it that much harder for me to date him. Thank you Disney Channel!
Joe still rocked it up, but overall it sucked!
I watched it with my 12 yr old. While none of the "actors" will win an Academy Award or anything, it was cute! My daughter and I had a great time watching it together. Demi has a BEAUTIFUL voice. Good luck to her! Cute movie!
