Sources tell us that Julia Roberts was nothing less than a "Major Bitch" on the red carpet during the premier of Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, Thursday in NYC.
Julia is an executive producer on the film.
It seems though that the former Pretty Woman had a major 'tude with the photographers.
She wouldn't remove her sunglasses, despite numerous request, and she wouldn't even pose by herself!
She kept posing with producer Lisa Gillian or with someone else by her side.
And, when asked for some solo shots, Roberts just walked away.
WTF?

Give her the respect she deserves! If she was a man, no one be making such a big deal! And she's one greatest actresses of our generation, so quit being such a dick to her.
It's gotten to a point where the paparazzi and assorted mixed nuts behind the cameras have become the biggest assholes and phonies. She co-produced with her SISTER, and wants her sister to be able to get as much (if not more) credit on this project. It seems she's more AWARE than the phonies behind the cameras. Amazing how NOT being oblivious is considered being a "bitch." I don't even like her, but how small does your brain have to be to not get how dumb this story is.
Well because most of the photographers are rude assholes, I would have done the same thing.
When paparazzi were nice and gracious for having a star let them take their photos, they would have gotten alot more out of her.
I don't care for her much anyways so who cares why she was wearing glasses…she was a major B when I met her in Turkey. Look at her Belly…It looks like she has a baby bump!

THIS WAS A MOVIE PREMIRE. You walk the red carpet you take pics. This wasn't in her neighborhood. She shouldn't have walked the red carpet OR she should have at least taken off her sunglasses & in my opinion out of respect for the cast dressed up a little. If she cared so much about a movie she executively produced & the cast then she would have done what it took on her part to make the premire great.

The person that thinks the photogs at the premiere are doing Julia a favor by being there and photographing her are clearly not familiar with how thngs go. That might be true of silly paparazzi blogs like TMZ or the local rags, but not of the real press. She is the producer of the film and reserves the right to be photographed with her colleagues who are also on the production team. No she does not need to take off her glasses…and as much as it hurts to hear, no it wasn't required for her to break out into full red carpet regalia for this either. She is on a production TEAM, hence the ettiquette involved in how she directed her photo op. She is there serving in a diffrent capacity, no solo shots are needed.

The professor has been working regularly as an actor for almost 30 years and has met a ton of actors. He was roomates with Kevin Spacey (he confirms that he, John Travolta and the Mad about actress are gay) and was friend's with Val Kilmer in college (they may still talk if they see each other. Friends who've worked behind cameras in productions with Julia Roberts paint a very different picture than the one we see.
