In an effort to unite the Democratic Party, Barack Obama's campaign announced today that he will be campaigning with Hillary Clinton next week.
Yay!!!!!
The two senators will campaign together starting next Friday, June 27th.
The pair will also meet in Washington with some of Clinton's top contributors in an effort to try and calm donors who are still bothered by Obama's presidential campaign.
Few details are being released at the moment, though.
The news did come one day after Obama announced that he would reverse an earlier position and reject almost $85 million in public financing for the general election.
The announcement was received with a lot of criticism.
So, to draw the attention elsewhere, he made the announcement a week early about campaigning with Hillary.

Oh, God hell no. I like Hillary a lot better than Obama, but she is a very strong headed, power hungry person. I will be very surprised if Obama picks her as a running mate. She will most definitely want to run the entire show. He'll be having a meeting with his cabinet, and she will waltz in and want to take over. And that is no exaggeration. This is an extremely brilliant move on both Obama and Hillary.
Obama's group is waiting to read the feedback from Hillary campaigning with him to see if the public response is negative or positive. If it is overwhelmingly positive, she will be considered as VP. I don't think Hillary or Obama expect it to be positive but it does restore honor and credability to Hillary and the Democratic party. It helps re-unite the party after such a long and bitter primary struggle. Again,, SMART move.

Almost all democrats would've voted for Obama alone (without Hillary), because no dem would vote for McCain and most wouldn't vote for an independent and only dumb stubborn ones would protest voting all together (because they wanted Hillary to be in the running, it would be ridiculous to not vote because Obama and Hillary have a lot in common, which is better then not voting and having McCain win, who almost has nothing in common with Hillary) So, Obama has enough united votes from dems. On top of that, McCain is a neo-republican, classical republicans hate that and are looking elsewhere for a different candidate to vote for other then McCain, therefore, Obama had a shot at getting those votes had he picked a more moderate VP candidate. I have a really bad feeling about Obama. I don't have any proof to back it up, but I have a very strong hunch he is actually planing to work against America. I'll even go as far as to say I think he may have been positioned by the terrorists. He flipped up out of the wood-work and has only been a politician for about 4 years. Besides, I don't buy the "Hillary isn't change"-argument. First of all, policy-wise, she so totally is (universal health-care, anyone?). Secondly, so she has lied in the past! So has Obama!!
