Burger King is set to launch the world's most expensive burger ever at a fast food restaurant!
The burger will even make Guinness World Record history, beating out 1994's American Double Truffle Burger.
B.K.'s latest creation is simply called The Burger.
It will include flame grilled Wagyu Beef, topped with white truffles on a truffle bun.
The Burger is going to cost £95, so a bit over $185.00!!
Thankfully, this is only available in the U.K. In America, people can barely pay for their gas!
It is being described as having "The world's most succulent Japanese beef complemented with white truffles, onion tempura prepared in Cristal champagne and Italy's finest Pata Negra prosciutto."
Many believe this is clearly a publicity stunt.
Sounds like one to us. Hey, it worked.
One critic says, "This is just a PR stunt, even more absurd than the coffee costing virtually as much as a semi-detached house in Crewe. Burger bars are desperate to move up market as more people question why they are filling their bodies with fast food. But who will really spend £95 in Burger King?"
As for B.K., their vice president of marketing, David Kisilevsky, has said "The Burger is an extension of Burger King's quality burger menu and is aimed at burger aficionados, looking for the ultimate burger taste experience. It reflects our ongoing commitment to producing the best quality burgers for a range of different pockets and reinforces our quality credentials."

Ummm…American's pay WAYYYY less for gas than they do in the UK or anywhere in Europe for that matter. Hell 30 minutes away and you pay almost double for gas in Canada. The last time I was down south in Washington gas was $3.89 a gallon. If I do a bit of math (keeping dollar on par) that's way less than than the $5.40 BC residents were paying for the same amount at the time. So shad up about the cost of gas!

Umm perez do your homework, in england they are paying in excess of $10 a gallon and many gas stations have to close early because they are running out of fuel due to the government rationing fuel.

Stop whining about the gas prices! Us norwegians pay about 3$ per litre. That is 0.264 gallon. If you want cheaper mileage, try swapping to a more economic car. It's your own fault if you're driving a car that's chunking down gas like a camel kept from water for 2 weeks.

It's a huge bug bear when I hear Americans compaining constantly about the price of Gasoline. $4 a gallon!!!!! Shock horror. In the UK petrol costs around $12 a gallon. You Americans should give thanks for how LOW your petrol costs are and be grateful for what you have.
I think you need to do some more research before you talk about Americans barely being able to afford gas, over here in the U.K. petrol - or gas to you Yanks - is twice as expensive at even the cheapest petrol station, and three times as much at the dearest. Add in the fact that we earn less on average than you guys and I don't think you are really in a position to talk about not having the money to buy stuff.

If the gas prices there were MARKET prices - you can be sure that there would not be anywhere near as much demand. Actually regardless of the fact that Europeans pay more for fuel… there is a difference. There are studies that show that Europeans drive less too and therefore spend less on fuel. I don't personally complain about the cost of gas because I have to own and drive a car… I don't have a choice. I live in a city where we don't have a subway or metro like New York or DC and our public transportation (ie; city bus) won't get me where I need to go.
Until May I went to school outside of the city — 60 miles outside of the city and I had to drive that 60 miles twice a day, 4 days a week for 4 years. So maybe the price of your gas is higher… it doesn't mean you're spending more on it.
Anyway I think everyone should stop bitching about gas prices unless you're going to stop driving.
