The Kooks have done a great cover of Peter Bjorn & John's instant classic Young Folks.
There's no whistling in the Kooks' version, but they did add a female vocalist for a little pizzaz.

It was much better the first time. This version kinda sucks.
Pete Yorn sang a cover of this at ACL last year that was soooo awesome. I wish I could download it somewhere.

Wow, it suprises me how easily the kooks can homogenize anything to sound exactly like all singles they've released before. If you want a good version of this song check out Dawn Landes' bluegrass cover on youtube. Fiddle instead of the whistling and great backing vocals too.

Young Folks WAS NOT an instant classic. The song didn't catch on untill at least a year after the album came out
