I have been to Jamaica. It had to have been one of the WORST countries I have ever been in. When you have shopping centers closed to the general population with barricades and armed guards so that visitors can shop in safety was extremely creepy. Most tourists go to inclusive resorts where they fly in, are whisked to the resort, stay on the resort behind guarded high walls, and leave to go back to the airport. The island is extremely unsafe. One official we talked to said that up to 60-70% of the population is on drugs. We could not wait to leave and will never set foot back on that disgusting island again. When I am President I intend to invade the island and restore it to it's natural wonder (without Jamaicans).

I am Jamaican and am very ashamed of this long standing lack of tolerance in my fellow Jamaicans. It is one thing to disagree with ones lifestyle, but another thing entirely to decide you have the right to take someone’s life because of it. I am proud to say I am one Jamaican who is not homophobic! Everyone has a right to life and happiness!
I think the energies of the Jamaican people would be better spent improving the quality of life for the nation poor and destitute.
