naomi campbell (as screwed up as she is, put that aside), is still much more sexy and beautiful than tara ever thought of being…i have always thought that out of the black models like iman, bev johnson, naomi and tyra, that tyra was…by far…the least attractive. the name alone sounds black and rowdy.

IHHS is not the type of school where that sort of mean teasing would go on. The encouraging compliment is more like it and imo Tyra Banks is the one who did any mean teasing. If she was ever teased for being skinny, it was probably from one of her family members or when she was in grade school!

Anyone who thinks THAT is Tyra's natural hair and color are in denial. It's A WIG. Nothing wrong with that. Tyra even admitted on her show that she wears wigs. So, I don't see the point of people saying she doesn't. Tyra is like American Express when it comes to her wigs, she doesn't leave home without them. Beyonce , Halle Berry and Many others wear weaves, wigs, extensions at one time or another. To each his own. Btw I think Tyra is lovely, but that color is just not for her.

And yeah she talks about her forehead all the time! BIG DEAL! She's still beautiful. Didn't she talk about how she won "the genetic lottery" and everything. It's funny, she never talks about being unhappy with her nose even though she had atleast 2 nose jobs. It's clear when you look at pictures of her when she was younger, toward the middle of her career and now that she's had work done on that nose atleast twice. I've never liked weaves or straightened hair on black women. It just looks unattractive and unnatural to me. If I were black I would be totally rockin' the short afro and Africian inspired accesaries and clothes. I think that look is so ultra cool and beautiful.
Where Oprah, Naomi Campbell, and Star Jones stopped short—Tyro just kept on going. Negresses just hate who and what they are. Otherwise they would not try so awfully, extremely, and pathetically hard to be what they are not. Negresses do not have long flowing blond tresses.
But this one has some chunky upper arms and some junk in the trunk (hip & thigh area). Maybe the absurd and ridiculous flowing scandinavian wig is to distract from her plumpness.

When I was little, everything was all about black people being attacked and how white people are racist. All these years later, I'd say things are headed in a very different direction, though I'm not sure it's much better than the past, sadly.
Why is hate the solution to hate? Every non-white person on here bashing white skin or making racist comments, shame on you. Many of us have struggled so hard for equality and for all people to be treated with dignity. If you see a comment you dislike or disagree with, take the high road. Add something positive. Make a new friend….if you dare to be bothered. Your knee-jerk hateful racism towards white people is truly unfortunate, and to be honest it almost brings me to tears reading so much hatred. Have you learned nothing from the past? Responding with racism is not making a positive change in the world.

A black person may end up with lighter color hair if they are mixed with Caucausion heritage, but even then, the extreme dark pigment of a black Africian will predominately succeed over a Caucausion. This world is still pretty racially pure, and divided up into only three races: Negro, Caucausion and Oriental. Negros are from almost all of Africa. Caucausions are Egyptians, Arabs, Eastern Indians, Europeons, North and South American Indians and Hispanics. Orientals are from the orient (self explanitory). There are some people who are mixed raced, such as SOME hispanics and an increasing number of Americans and Europeans. But the caucausian Arbas, Eastern Indians, and Egyptians, along with the Negro Africians and Orientals, remain mostly untouched by racial blending.
Beyonce, and now Tyra, are winners of the Michael Jackson "I wanna be White" award. Everyone knows black men LOVE blond WHITE women, just ask Tiger Woods, Seal, Bryant Gumbel, among many.

It seems to me that the trend of "ideal" beauty is neither black nor white, but instead a fictional standard that's really a mix of many nationalities. You should be kind of tan, but not too dark, have a small nose, straight blond hair, curvy, but not too curvy, etc. It's getting silly for any one group to call the other ugly, bland, etc. All women of the world are beautiful and bring their own special features to the table. Hell, my lips and legs are FAR more voluptuous than Tyra's or many of the supposedly "black" celebrities. It's only when I see Queen Serena that I feel some dang validation, and she and I are just about opposite in terms of color. Racism is lame. Self-hatred is lame.
If people think Tyra is prettier than "white" women, that is absurd considering that she has a lot of white mixed in with her genes/features, to boot. Again we're talking about some fictional standard in which case BOTH purely white and purely black people would be excluded.
At the end of the day color does not make a person beautiful, anyway. Good character does.
