Promise Rings Are For Pussies!

It looks like things are getting serious for I Kissed A Girl rocker Katy Perry and her beau, Travis McCoy, the lead singer from Gym Class Heroes.
He's given her a "promise" ring!
Isn't that like some shit you do in high school????
McCoy opened up in a recent interview and said, "We're going to spend the whole summer together. She's going to be on Warped Tour with us, she's going to be performing. It's going to be a good time."
The two just kicked off the Warped Tour this past Friday in Pomona, California. They'll be traveling together for the next two months.
Does he promise not to take a dump on her tour bus????
As for what he likes about Perry, he says, "She's super hot, for one. But when I first heard the song, I was like this is going to be a smash. The next thing you know it's No. 1 on iTunes."
So wait. You like her because she's hot and has a number 1 single?
WTF??
He adds, "I'm proud of her, she deserves it. She's been in this business for the last six, seven years, and she's finally getting a break. I'm excited for her."
As for their relationship, it looks like McCoy bought her the diamond ring - but only as a "promise" - that she wears on her middle finger.
He even adds "and I have one too!"
His is a silver band with the name "Katy" engraved on it.
He continues, "I went in [the jewelry store] and said I wanted a ring. The lady behind the counter said 'here's one for $300.' I was like, 'I want a nice ring!' Then I pointed to the big one."
McCoy adds he was "so scared to give it" to her, but luckily "she was so excited! And I'd set up flowers everywhere."
A promise to continue to give her big diamonds is a good "promise"!

I'm happy for Travie and Katy. Katy is super talented and Travis is a great guy. He's recently cleaned up his act and been focusing super hard on Gym Class Heroes' upcoming album. I think that they are great for each other and so adorable.

My husband and I were just in St. Lucia on a vacation about a month ago..We stayed at a beautiful resort (Ladera…i recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation, extremely breathtaking). To our surprise we meet Travis…(My husband was so excited because he was is a big time fan) Sorry to say but he was there with a very nice young woman…i had thought they were on their honeymoon too, seems not but it definitely looked like it!
oh well good luck to him…he is such a nice guy…plus i really liked the girl he was with…very sweet…hot couple

Travis and Gym Class Heroes have been around for about 2 or 3 years now and they've had huge success. And Gym Class Heroes acutally writes good music. I've been very disappointed with Miss Perry's music.
