Todays Rap music is crap music! Ice -T is a legend pure and simple. Did he make a heated spoken mistake, yes. But, I understand him completely.
Rappers are puppets, hand picked by the producers, used and thrown away.
The music is junk, a 5 year old could write the lyrics with more free-form and esctasy then all these rap artists of the last 5 years.
Its pure numbness!
So ask yourself this question and think for a moment please. Why do I listen to Rap music when it teaches me degradation of my own people, my own brothers and sisters, and why does pretty much every current rap star end up broke again??
Listen to music that inspires you ! Dance, hip-hop is fun and a way to enjoy life.
The fact is Rap is turning into a losing industry, it needs consumers to buy branding. Thats cool and all, but wouldn't you rather support a brand, an artist, a song that supports you! Inspires you to make a difference for the planet you live on?
I was there w/ grand master, cold crush, Ice-T, Grand Funk, EPMD, etc…. These artists told a story, worked at making a full album, not a pop single. Ice-T even experimented with the rock and roll genre, thats great to open the mind.
Remember this, and for the rest of your life - If your not working or focusing on a productive lifestyle, you will be the lamb for someone else…..
