The Mouse House is very busy laying the foundation for Miley Cyrus‘ replacements.
Her milk is about to turn sour and they want some freshly squeeze leche from the cow before Hannah Montana expires!
Selena Gomez – one of the stars of the Disney Channel show, Wizards of Waverly Place – is planning on recording an album later in the year.
Like, duh!
Being a Disney star in this day and age is all about branding….and gouging those little kids for AS MUCH MONEY as possible.
If you can’t act and sing, you’re useless!
We see some sort of film in Miz Selena’s future as well.
In a recent interview, Selena says about the Miley comparisons, “I think it’s an honor, it’s a good compliment. But I think I might want to take a different route when it comes to that. I love acting and that’s my passion. So I would love to do more movies and some serious things like that. So maybe a different road with me.”
Plus, she says, she plans on being part of a band later this year, not a solo singer.
Is she saying Miley is a bit too self-centered?
We think Selena is way cuter than Miley. She reminds us of a young Rachel Bilson.
Plus, we gotta love anyone named Selena!
