Why are they interviewing these two sluts? There are so many things wrong with this interview.
1. Why does Chris Cuomo, congratulate these two and say that it should be a wonderful time. She is a teenage mom!
2. The guy is 20 years old and she is 17. She is borderline underage.
3. The comment "Just a bunch of girls getting unlucky". Well that certainly says something about that school. If they were the ones who were unlucky, what percentage of teens in that school are having sex.

I was so angered by this interview, not only by a girl who needs a real life lesson and her baby daddy who apparently likes them young, but also by Chris Cuomo!!! He showed by his actions and words that he approves of a child having a child. Hey Chris, don't you have 2 daughters? Maybe one will make you an early grandpa!!!!

It's parents who don't pay enough attention to their kids, and take responsibility for their own actions. Parents who post their children on sites like this. There is so much trash out there — they unfortunately don't know any better because THEIR parents didn't do anything to help them in life. So sad. And now many people are having sex in high school — and younger! LOTS! Some just get unlucky. Some of you make it sound like she is a slut because she got pregnant. No she just got unlucky! At least it sounds like they are trying to do the right thing. who knows if it will work out. I happen to know several families where the girl was a teenage mom and they are now great caring moms with really good kids. I do happen to know the opposite also — teen moms who are now trash and their kids will unfortunately be also, because they were that way to begin with. Hopefully this makes sense. to everyone who says this kid is going to be a mistake i think that is wrong to say….. i graduated high school 6 months pregnant, i went on to college (without the help of adults i have no parents they r dead… so no mommy and daddy) i am still with my babies father she is 20 months old and is the best thing that ever happened to us, no we didnt do it on purpose, but we have been together for 4 1/2 years we own 2 cars our own home (next year is the last payment and its not like a trailer or anything) she will be in a privet pre-k next year. so for people to put every young parent into the same little box as a "bad parent" for not getting an abortion is disgusting, what year is it people, the more we knock young parents down the more they will believe that they will fail…. and that is proven in any situation, i had a hard life so i want to make my childs different, so think about the things that r being said instead of just agreeing with the person who posted a comment before u.

If the fathers were forced to be the sole financial support for the child, I have a feeling boys would suddenly find condoms a lot more attractive, and these girls, who need psychiatric help. 1) The age of consent in Massachusetts is 16. No statutory rape here.
2) Teen pregnancy rates have not skyrocketed in the last decade. Nationally, the rate of teen pregnancies has been declining since 1991.
3) A random spike in pregnancies in one high school in the entire country does not indicate a trend.
4) Eliminating the daycare will not solve the problem, it will only make it harder for those who already have children. The daycare should be coupled with an expanded health curriculum that addresses not only safe sex and sexual health, but also speaks frankly to the students about why motherhood at such a young age is not the best idea for both the woman and the child. And that birth control is fallible. And that if you're going to have sex, maybe you should be using condoms in addition to your BC.

i think her comment about the school's perspective on sex ed is important. if the faculty isn't handing out what the students really need or are advocating abstinence, they really need to reevaluate the reality of the lives these students and figure out what discussions will be valuable…vows of abstinence break more often than condoms do.

I had my 13 year old son at 19 - 11 months and 2 months after two of my best friends also had babies. I can honestly say there was no plan for such a thing to occur, though looking back it must have looked like we had planned to purposely have babies together. It comes down to this - teenage girls are having sex, many without birth control and what happens when you have sex? YOU GET PREGNANT!!!!! My plan to avoid becoming a grandma before 40? Provide condoms and advice to my son! Hopefully the girls mothers will do the same!
