Get ready, cuz here it comes!
With the huge success of Camp Rock this past weekend (bringing in 8.9 million viewers to their cable channel), Disney is quickly on its way to making a sequel for the TV movie.
The station is hoping to have the same success as with the first two High School Musical movies.
With a script currently in development, the sequel for Camp Rock will most likely aim for a production date in the summer of 2009.
With the exception of the Jonas Brothers, will the original cast come back for part two?
Well, if they're smart they will.
Disney means big bucks and mega fame with the kiddies.
Aside from the JBs, Demi Lovato is rumored to be returning for the sequel.
Lovato is currently touring with the Brothers this summer and will also launch her own Disney series titled, Welcome to Mollywood.
All this AND the Jonai are also getting their very own Disney series, titled J.O.N.A.S.
When do they find time for all this???

ohkay, Disney needs to STOP. I love the Jonas Brothers, but this movie wasn't all that great. It was a LOT like HSM, and a majority of the characters were really underdeveloped. When Joe told that guy "you're a drummer dude"- all i could think was HSM, Troy, Kelsey, blahblahblah.
I'll buy JB tickets and merch, but Camp Rock wasn't great…needs better writing. ugh.
Demi has a huge mouth && itsn' really that pretty either. She's got a decent voice but it looks like she tries wayy too hard.
I'll watch the 2nd one just to see if this is any good. I'll barf if they overexpose this thing like HSM.
The Jonas Brothers need a break. They work too much.

Many of you are too quick to judge the JB's. These guys have spent the past three years building thier careers. They write their own music and sing thier hearts out at concerts. I've been to a concert that they performed at before they became so well known and I was so impressed. Time will tell if they will remain popular but If I were them I would enjoy their "15" minutes of fame. It is certainly a once in a life time chance. I personally love their unique way of dressing- it shows their youth and creativity. JB's rock and I hope that they continue to grow as artists!!!
