The rapper just unleashed this rant about his performance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival, where angry fans started throwing stuff on stage after he went on late - very very late.
Says Kanye:
"I am sick of negative people who just sit around trying 2 plot my downfall… Why???? I understand if people don't like me because I like me or if people think tight clothes look gay or people say I run my mouth to much, But this Bonnaroo thing is the worst insult I've ever had in my life. This is the most offended I've ever been… this is the maddest I ever will be. I'm typing so fucking hard I might break my fucking Mac book Air!!!!!!!! Call me any name you want…. arrogant, conceited, narcissistic, racist, metro, fag whatever you can think of…. BUT NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! THEY TRIED 2 GIVE ME A TIME SLOT WERE IT WAS STILL LIGHT OUTSIDE … I HAVE A FUCKING LIGHT SHOW DUMB ASS, IT'S NOT CALLED GLOW IN THE DARK FOR NO REASON SQUID BRAINS! MY PEOPLE WORKED OUT A COMPROMISED STAGE PLOT AND A 3AM TIME SLOT AND I AGREED. FAST FOWARD TO THE DAY OF THE SHOW. MY PRODUCTION MANAGER TRIED TO LOAD IN FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE I WENT ON STAGE BUT THE FESTIVAL WOULDN'T ALLOW US TO DO ANYTHING UNTILL PEARL JAM LEFT THE STAGE. PEARL JAM ENDED ONE HOUR

I CUT A FEW SONGS FROM THE SET BECAUSE I WANTED PEOPLE 2 EXPERIENCE STRONGER WHILE THERE WAS STILL SOME DARKNESS TO PERFORM IT IN. I'VE STRUGGLED WITH STRONGER FROM IT'S CONCEPTION. REMEMBER LAST SUMMER WHEN I CANCELED SOME TV APPEARANCES. IT WAS BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO PERFORM STRONGER IN THE DAYTIME. ANYONE WHO CAME TO THE GLOW TOUR CAN UNDERSTAND WHY I WANTED PEOPLE TO SEE IT PROPERLY. i went to his gig in oz and it was shit!! he was like four hours late. and even the opening acts were at least one hour late starting. everyone was so pissed. when he finally came out his perfimance was average at best. the venue was awful! it could have fit thoushands but there was only a couple of hundred in there all cramped together in a designated section at the front of the stage which was so high up we could hardley even see him!!! absolute waste of time and money and to top it off i got picked by a couple of skanky bitches trying to push through to the front. FUCK KANYE - never again!!!

I love Kanye and his show was well choreographed, however I was at the show waited 3 hours for it to start and well if he really cared about us he would have addressed us or said thanks for waiting, he didn't so it's kind of hard to believe that he cares so much.

KAYNE SUCKS. he was scheduled to go on at 245… started his half assed performance 2 hours later- conveniently after all the other artists were also done playing. he was the only artist i saw all weekend that didn't give it his all for the fans. he let a lot of people down. i left his show, half way through feeling sincerely let down. he didnt address the crowd or apologize once for being late. he didn't treat the festival performance they way he would a normal show, we got zero energy, and that is not fair to the fans. he can come up with all the excuses he wants, but the proof is in the pudding, baby, and he didnt feed us shit.
this "response" to bonnaroo, 2 weeks after the event, made me have even less respect for him then i did when he was whinning to "jane" on stage"

I waited for 3 hours in the front row at Bonnaroo for Kanye. It became quite obvious to me that the stage crew was stalling for Kanye as they stood around idle most of the time. They setup his stage on a nightly basis, as this point they have it down to a science. Kanye fails to mention he was in Atlanta just a few hours before Bonnaroo. So I call BS on his little rant.
People are really only angry that he never acknowledged his tardiness. We cared enough to wait around for him, he could at least give us a "hey, thanks" regardless of what the reason for his tardiness was. I think he would benefit greatly by showing some humility in this case.

I was at Bonnaroo. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Every other performance that I attended was one that i enjoyed. All off the other artists were respectful of the crowd, the other musicians and the spirit of the festival. I can't tell you how many people were so open to Kanye coming, excited for his set and hoping that he would live up to the hype that surrounds his mediocre tour. Metallica was another performance that was questionable and discussed, but ou know what they did? they adapted and embraced their fans and honestly it was pretty darn fun. It's not that "he didn't fit the festival" and "he was dealing with fucking idiots," its that he is a fucking idiot. YOu care about your fans, then respond to them by breaking character from your lame ass theme and say listen, so sorry, so glad to be here, thanks for waiting. This rant that could have been penned by a pissed off 8th grader shows his attitude. He's just pissed that for almost two weeks the word has been getting out on how unprofessional he is. You have to to A LOT to piss off a music festival crowd, and he has lost the respect of nearly the 80,000 in attendance that weekend, and who knows how many more that have now found out what he is really like. I dunno if this Concert was free or anything but if it wasnt….. All i can say is that the reason why any of you are onthat bloody stage is because of people liek us the FANS! So maybe - Just MAYBE after all the time and effort we have put into in spending our hard earned money into you guys - Maybe that should be more of a reason to be organised - get out there on time - Get those other performances off the stage. Get things moving… and that goes to all that played that night….
