The rapper just unleashed this rant about his performance at the Bonnaroo Music Festival, where angry fans started throwing stuff on stage after he went on late - very very late.
Says Kanye:
"I am sick of negative people who just sit around trying 2 plot my downfall… Why???? I understand if people don't like me because I like me or if people think tight clothes look gay or people say I run my mouth to much, But this Bonnaroo thing is the worst insult I've ever had in my life. This is the most offended I've ever been… this is the maddest I ever will be. I'm typing so fucking hard I might break my fucking Mac book Air!!!!!!!! Call me any name you want…. arrogant, conceited, narcissistic, racist, metro, fag whatever you can think of…. BUT NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! kanye- all we wanted was an apology, some acknowledgement that you appreciated us waiting for you in the in that freezing, wet field for HOURS. you got on stage and did even interact with us, barely acknowledged us. i commend you for your artistry, i think you are a very creative and talented guy, dedicated to his craft. and i like your music, and plenty of other people at bonnaroo did too, judging by the initial crowd at your stage. but what about human decency? you would be nothing without your fans and you know it, so don't treat us like dirt for something that wasn't our fault either.
i was at bonnaroo and kanye did suck and IT WAS BAD. we were excited to see him and his stage was set up along time before he came out everyone was tired of waiting. The set time kept changing, and he never greeted the crowd or apologized and we left after 3 songs and everyone was leaving also. Everyone spray painted Kanye Sucks and Kanye thinks he's cooler than you. We stayed up ALL NIGHT to see him and he ruined the last day of Bonnarrooooooo for everyone b/c we waited all night to see that loser.

What most of you fail to forget is that Kanye West recently lost his mother, she signed her own death contract, she wasn't old or ill, she died from a stupid plastic surgeon. He wrote about his mom in most of his songs and was very close with his mom. it hasnt even been 6 months, you never get over something like that and he hasnt even touch the iceberg of beginning to try, he has to love his fans cause, he's out there grinding and working for HALF the money to please y'all. what a liar! i worked the bonnaroo parking crew and that is not what happenned. all any of the workers could talk about is how pissed they were that kanye was ruining their night. kanye DEMANDED to go from a smaller stage to the main stage. this through off the entire weekend. MANY good musicians had to move their show or cut their show short because kanye was being such a diva. bonnaroo has been going for seven years now and on one has ever said that their shit wasn't together. leave it to kanye to place blame on someone else who is actually doing their job.

I was there too… I was at Centeroo until 4:30am, I would have loved to see the show but because Mr. Kanye HAD to have such an elaborate stage show (it's fucking bonnaroo… we're there for the music), I missed it because he started the show 10 minutes after I left Centeroo and I had no clue.

We are from Manchester and everyone we know works Bonnaroo every year. This festival has been going on for way longer than Kanye's career. This festival is about music and art. Not whether he got to put on a laser show. If his music can't stand up on it's own without lights and dancing then maybe he should rethink his career. Everyone that worked it knew that there was problems with him from the get go because he didn't want to play the same night as Pearl Jam and wanted the biggest stage. They tried to put him on another stage and he threatened to pull out if he wasn't on the biggest stage available. Who cares? His fans paid almost $300 a ticket to see him and it is an insult to them for him to blame his shitty performance on the venue. Luckily I am not one of those fans.
I love Kanye's music, but I'm glad he got booed at Bonarroo. I was supposed to go to his concert in Cincinatti..the same night he played at Bonaroo. Needless to say he cancelled the Cinci show and I was out $100 for a ticket. Karma's a bitch!!

Kayne made me sooo sad at Bonnaroo! i was so excited about seeing him. i think he did a great job the performance was just late and short - only 54 minutes - after waiting forever on him, u think he couldve said "whatttts up"
I saw Kanye in Chicago - it was one of the most AMAZING performances I have EVER seen!!! People at Bonnaroo needed to chill the f-out (figured most of them probably already were on something to help out with that). I dont' know why Kanye would ever have agreed to do Bonnaroo in the first place, but whatever. People need to give him a fucking break. Kanye and his dream that he created on stage kicks ass…
It is much less OUR fault we decided give him the opportunity to watch his show. A lot of us travelled ACROSS the country to watch him and everyone else perform. We decided to stick aroung till 2:45am (which was long enough already) for HIM. When they kept adding 15 mins on top of 15mins it got really old really quick. We had been there since early hours of the morning some people had been camping since Thursday. We wanted to watch his show, but neither his people or anyone else responsible took care of it. We have every right to be pissed…

Fuck that. Even if Pearl Jam finished when they were supposed to, he STILL would have been at least an hour late getting started. It's an outdoor music festival, not a goddamn world tour. Despite the obvious technical problems with the show, I'm surprised at how unprofessional Kanye is. The blogs are extremely unprofessional and only perpetuate the stereotype that everyone in the entertainment industry is explosive and unintelligent. I'm offended. In my opinion, not cool Kanye. The media backlash comes with the job, as does the public outcry when something doesn't go as planned. When you signed that record contract, you signed-up to be a performer. As you managed success as a performer, you knew this to be part of the job. Nobody else is complaining, or at least those of us fortunate enough to be working in the industry.

I do think Kanye is a bit of a diva and is a little full of himself, BUT, I do believe that he puts a lot into his work. The Glow in the Dark tour had good reviews for a reason. I totally believe that Pearl Jam was rude and went over their time, and it's very reasonable that the stage people had no idea what they were doing and were not prepared. I went to that Verizon tour with Beyonce, Alicia Keys, and Missy Elliot some years ago, and not only was the concert late, but the breaks in between acts were, like, 45 minutes long!! People need to realize that the celebs aren't always to blame. I am glad he wrote this blog.

He's passionate about what he does & I respect that. Why should he do a half assed show if the light show is a major part of the performance? It's not like he's Joni Mitchell and can just bring his voice and an acoustic guitar. The theatrics are as much a part of the show as the music. His agent/manager should be more careful of booking him into the proper venues for his show.
Pearl Jam shoulda just kept playing. Maybe it was more of a case that Kanye and his stupid stage setup couldn't follow a group of actual musicians.

Amen, Kanye! He is am amazing artist, there's no arguing that. It seems that he just had a hard time with the people in his crew getting it together for his performance.
