I respect them for believing in something. Its not about the whole "real or fake" thing about god. Its just faith, to belive in something is wonderful. But i believe religion should be a personal thing, no one needs to know who you worship or who you don't. Thats your buisness thats between "you & god". I don't think anyone cares what your religion is frankly. I know i don't. Its fine if someone ask you whats your religion. But honestly no one cares what your religion is. No need to brodcast that you are a Christian. But, i also hate the people who say that people who believe in god, or any god for that matter are "brain washed" thats so horrible to say. because they can say the same about you they can say "your possessed by the devil" or something. are you? probably not.
I think that you should stick to your believes, but don't try to bring someone else down for thiers. I feel like religion is not taring humanity apart, i feel PEOPLE are taring humanity apart! Everyone feels like they should always be right. Like everyone says "we all are different" well all think different ways, we all feel different, we all look different, each and everyone idividual person is different. No one has ever came back and say God is rea, no one ever came back and say God isn't real. Yes there is a fine line between right and wrong. Like killing, stealing, & ect. is wrong. But, when it comes to religion nobody's right & nobody's worng. We say religion is taring the world apart, its NOT! Its every human on this earth, we all feel the need to be right. People feel like, "if i feel this way about something, everyone else has to, or else they are wrong!" I just think that if everyone would just realize, that no one is the same, and everyone thinks differently. The world would be a better place.

I LOVE the Jonas Brothers. and all you people who call them gay fags because they actual have standards need help. I will pray for you because you obviously need it.
I think it's pretty cool that as teenagers/early 20-somethings they seem to have a pretty good idea of who they are and what they want out of life. That's kinda rare. And while their songwriting might not be the most earth-shatteringly raw and honest, it's pretty good for their age and situation (it's not like Disney encourages quality music). So I have no problem saying that I'm in my mid-twenties and think they're great. And for what it's worth, I really hope they take the same route Hanson did and make great indie music when they're done with the Disney thing.
Also, it makes me all kinds of sad how many people are using "gay" as an insult. It makes me sad that we're not past belittling personal qualities that the majority finds counter cultural. And it especially makes me sad coming from the folks who claim to follow a guy who did nothing but teach people to love.
I love it.

Re: oyvey – I hear ya Oyvey! If people in this country were not such "followers", we wouldn't be in the mess we are in today. Religion causes war and strife. I mean, if people truly lived up to the ideals of Jesus, and quit being a bunch of self-righteous hypocrites, we might actually have a loving, tolerant country that was not so quick to go overseas and kick everybody's ass in the name of greed. Maybe then we could take care of our own people instead of wasting our resources on a corporate pipe dream.

I think its sad that him expressing his views and values can bring up so much backlash. Christian music doesn't always have to have God in every song, but it should have a possitive message, which I think their music does(I think that is what he was trying to say). I also think it's great to see people my age with morals and values. No they may not be Rock&Roll, and you may not like their music , but to each their own. I like the Jonas Brothers, and I hope they stick to what they believe in and prove some people wrong.
