   Not only was the show AMAZING, but let's discuss the fact that they gave their fans a FREE SHOW, when they easily could have sold out MSG, what with the #1 song in the country and all

   Re: PezDi – I've been going to concerts and such for over 30 years now and this was not a good show. As you may have read, I went to Madonna's dress rehearsal and Coldplay paled in comparison. Her show was perfection. If you were there, you would know where I'm coming from. I wanted to love the performance, but it was just not good, free or not. AND, the free kick-off tour concerts are supposed to get everyone excited about the tour, not be a dress rehearsal. You rehearse before you start the tour.

   i loved the show. it was free-spirited and exciting and personal despite the massive crowd. chris martin makes you feel like he's your best friend and his acoustic version of yellow was incredible.

   It's unfortunate for Coldplay, they've built themselves up as a mega act, but their latest CD sucks hard. Even a superstar can't make a totally bland, boring and dull uninspiring record and get away with it.

    Whatever… I was at the Madison Sq Garden show and it was a pretty great show. Coldplay obviously cares A LOT about their fans and I don't know why anyone would shred a free show anyway. Get a life Mario.
