Everyone Hates Lauren Conrad

More drama surrounds The Hills off-screen than it does on the show it seems.
And this time it's real!
The neighbors around Lauren Conrad's new house are apparently upset and bothered by the constant filming and the parade of paparazzi and onlookers brought on by the filming.
Residents nearby feel the activities by production present "a serious threat to public safety, create a public nuisance, cause disturbing problems and interfere with their rights as homeowners."
According to an MTV spokesperson, “MTV is in accordance with all required production permits, and is working with the city of Los Angeles to assist it with neighborhood concerns that have been raised.”
Records show the house was purchased in February of this year by the Lauren Conrad Living Trust for $2,360,000.
You know MTV is probably paying for that house!
Conrad's rep has said that Lauren is also upset (yea, right) as are her neighbors over the situation.
She adds that MTV has been following all protocol and that she's even hired private security for outside her home.
Sources reveal, though, that Lauren, Audrina Patridge and Lo "The Ho" Bosworth are only at the house when the cameras are rolling, or whenever there's a photo op or paparazzi outside.
And, even more disturbing are the claims of aggression and violence the residents are receiving from the paparazzi, even an alleged knife fight between two paps!!!!!!
According to sources, the paps "are vandalizing personal property and threatening residents." They're also fighting with each other over “territory” and who has the right to be where.
Councilmember Tom LaBonge’s office acknowledges that there have been problems in the neighborhood and that they've received numerous complaints.
His office says the disruptions are not being caused by MTV, but rather from the paparazzi and the street-side activity.
The office has had about 10 meetings with the complaining group of residents over the past four months.
Reps for the office say, "We have sat down with them to determine how best to address the issue. This is more of a neighborhood issue, than a filming issue. Both the City Attorney’s office and the LAPD have devoted a lot of time to this issue, and they have determined that the issues are not related to the filming itself, but more the noise on the street that results from the production’s presence.”
The Councilman's office states they have spoken with MTV and law officials and are working towards fixing the problem.
A rep from the LA City Attorney's office has said "It’s an ongoing thing where we continue to work with all of the parties involved and we’re continuing to monitor the situation."
Damn that Lauren Conrad.

I am sure LC bought that house herself. Her parents house is on the market right now for like 17 million - yeah I didn't know they were THAT rich. She probably has a trust fund which she may or may not have had to use as she made 1 million last year & probably has made at least 100k + a year since she started on Laguna Beach. I saw her clothing line yesterday in Saavy at Nordstrom. W/ that, The Hills & her endorsements the girl is doing well. I make about 200k/yr & own a 1 million dollar house so she for sure can afford a 2.3 million dollar house. Also, I saw candids of her & Audrina there before The Hills started filming & they looked like they just woke up or LC was walking the dog in casual clothes. The paps are causing all the problems. She said they are outside her house everyday & if I lived next to her I would be a little pissed & scared too but that is not LC's fault. She seems really consciencious so I am sure she is embarassed & upset my this.
So Perez I wanted to add why you think that LC can't afford a 2.3 million dollar house - that is what you are implying isn't it? I wonder why you rent. I bought my first house at 26 & just sold that & now at 31 I just bought a bigger house. I live in coastal Orange County so the property value her is similar to LA. We are the same age & I would think that you make a lot more money thatn I do so why would you live in an apartment? In fact I would think you would make at least what LC makes. A home is the best investment you can make. You get what you can afford & then you trade up. I made 200k off the condo I bought in 2003. What do you spend your money on?

I'm an LA paparazzi and I find these comments funny. If it wasn't for the paparazzi, you fat, stay-at-home moms and ugly whore fashionistas would have nothing to fulfill your pathetic meaningless lives in middle America. honestly I think it is pathetic that people are blaming Lauren for the behavior of the paparazzi. She cannot control their behavior anymore than you or I could. Yes, MTV is filming in the area, but as u stated they r never there, only when there is a photo op or something of that nature. So the residents should suck it up, quit complaining, and make the best of it. MTV is filming in you neighborhood, how many people can say that!
