Just when we thought things were getting better in Cuba, hatred like this reminds us more change is needed.
The first ever Cuban Gay Pride march was set to take place Wednesday down the streets of the communist country.
The parade was to start at 10:00am in Havana with attendees marching under the slogan "You are not alone."
However, as organizers arrived at the starting point, several of them were met by Cuban police officers who proceeded to beat and arrest several of them.

I am so sick & tired of the US trashing Cuba. I am Canadian and have been to Cuba. it is a beautiful country with lovely, gracious, genuine people. You feel so safe there and it is a great country. The best thing the gov't ever did was to keep the influence of the West away. It is uncorrupted and wonderful so don't buy into all the propaganda from the US gov't and American Cubans who were loyal to the former Dictator Batista!
