Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have just donated $1 million for educational aid to children in Iraq AND the USA impacted by the war, cuz they're better than you.
Nice to see them using their baby pic money for good!
The duo's Jolie-Pitt Foundation has given $500,000 to three groups in the war-torn country which will provide aid for some 5,700 children. Money will pay for basic necessities, including books and supplies to help send Iraqi children to school. Aid will also go to refugee kids, and to school rehabilitation programs.
Brangelina also gave $500,000 to help children in the United States who have had a military parent killed in Iraq or who are separated from a parent stationed in the country.

the biggest problem i have with these 2 is that they think it's okay to live in a different part of the world every 3 months. that's NOT okay for little kids! they need a stable environment growing up. if they want their kids to see the world, they should wait until the kids are older and can appreciate it more. and yet evryone thinks they're saints because they give out all this money!!! that doesn't make them "perfect", it just makes them generous (not that there's anything wrong with that). all i'm asking is that they move someplace permanently where they can raise the kids and work at the same time. a nice suburb in the LA area would be good because they can live there and work. a kid shouldn't be forced to live in a different house in a different country every week. nobody wants their siblings to be their best friends!

It doesn't matter how much their gross income is, what matters is that they're giving back to a good cause. We can all do the same, relatively speaking, of course. Yes, it's great that some of you give back as well, so to you, Congrats as well. Becuase they're famous, they are able to get through to a lot of ppl and show that they too still have compassion in their hearts. So stop putting them down and pick up a phone and put your time and money in a cause that can help the children of the world. They are not self -proclaimed saints, they were given that title. Angie and Brad, thank you for actually caring for other ppl in this world. You will be blessed.
You just think they are perfect than you because you have a low self image of yourself. If you have their money and attitude (fuck- and tax bracket), you'd be doing stellar charity work too! They know that they are far from perfect and this is a healthy way to keep their minds in check.

They are the top of the A-list and because of it the media will always be hounding them. I have learned that it is the media that puts them out there, they don't really seek the attention. When someone is that famous the media will always look for them to sell the magazines. There are pics out there today of her showing she is still pregnant, goodness she is outdoor playing with her kids. Its the media envading her privacy and haters will soon call her a media wh**e just for standing there getting some sun. I love this family for the charity work they do and it doesn't hurt that they are easy on the eyes and I love their films.
I'm sorry Jolie/Pitt. You can't buy me. Why don't you just go and volunteer for a disabled military event? Run a 5k or be there when a house is given to a disabled vet. xoxo

Ever notice that Angelina always announces some kind of charitable act around the same time she needs some publicity? Please. Real givers don't advertise their actions. I just gave 1 million dollars to an organization for recovering media whoors. And I just gave 2 million dollars to an organization to help install camel toe on older celebretards. And I gave 3 million dollars to a magazine to uncover the truth about Angelina.

Well first off since they do have kids on their own, they know how it feels to have to see a child dig off the garbage for some food. I mean would u like to see your kids do that? I don't think so! And besides I think it's good that they're wasting money on something that is totally worth it! For all you talking smack don't hate! To have to see them do that they really do inspire me, they're just making the world a better place, if every celebrity would just donate just a bit to these poor unfortnate people instead of getting drunk, doing drugs, and going to rehab not to mention the money badly spent on materialistic things this world would be so different. I'm a big fan of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and it's people like them that receive a bless from god and brings a smile to these kids face.

Um, they donate for tax reasons, duh. Okay- so they donate to organizations that they care about, but they HAVE to donate for tax purposes b/c they make so much money!
Although it's great that they are tying to help people in need, i kinda find these two very patronizing and hypocrtical to the point of annoyance. Do they want a pat on the back and a medal?There are millions of people all over the world giving what they can to help others and instead of blurting it to everyone they just get on and do it.I think they mean well but I have an issue with the carbon footprints they are leaving all over the world flying around in their private jet.

I read a lot of these comments and I was shocked beyond belief! Some comments have called Mr Pitt and Ms. Jolie such horrible names (the grammar was excruciatingly painful) and I strongly feel that she is genuinely interest in international relations. To use such language against a woman who has spent large amount of times and money to help children whether they are in the United States or in Iraq. If you honestly believe that Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt are only making donations so that she can create publicity, then that is your opinion, which I wish you would keep them to yourself. I think that Ms. Jolie deserves recognition for everything that she has done. Please stop cutting that family down!

I never said it wasn't normal to love your birth child-I merely said that, often, it stemmed from a love of self.
Regarding the Asian and Caucasian reproduction example you spewed out, K, 23 of the children's 46 chromosomes are still their mother's- I bet she does see herself in them from time to time, secure in the fact her genetic legacy will pass on as she continues the effort to over-populate our globe

As I said- there are people who genuinely want children- in which case they would be just as happy to have a biological or adopted child. And then there are those who only want to pass their own, often pathetic, DNA combination on. [cont'd]

It's interesting, because some of the people I know who have adopted have snubbed IVF in the process. They realise how incredibly self-absorbed it is to waste money on duplicating their genes when they could use it to adopt an already existing child in need. And then there are the other people I know who have adopted or plan to adopt, including myself, who, although fertile, can simply not justify having biological children and contributing to the problem of over-population when their are plenty of children who actually exist that they could be saving.
Also K, are you a personal friend of Jolie? It's just you seem to purport you know her exact reasons and intentions for adopting. Of course it's because she wanted to "fill voids"- not because, in essence, she's a humanitarian and thought she could help in some small way …
I do have a question though- if all these women supposedly develop this innate connection with the foetus they carry, then surely that should mean you could take their newborn immediately after birth, without the mother seeing it, mix it in with a hundred other random newborns and she should be able to correctly identify her own child through the "bond"…that would make for an interesting experiment!
