Looks like the battle is off.
Both Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie were set to battle it out at the box office later this year.
On October 24th, Angelina's new drama, Changeling, is set to premier. The film is already gathering some Oscar buzz.
Yes, she's that good.
That same day, Maniston's latest film, He's Just Not That Into You, was set to premiere as well.
Well, it was originally set to debut on August 1st, but with the movie sucking as bad as it is, they pushed it to October 24th.
That means that Maniston would have to compete against her ex-husband's love of his life and mother of his children.
But that's not how Maniston plays.
Instead, her movie has just been pushed back - again - this time to February 6th, 2009!
The fact that Jen's film keeps getting pushed back does not bode well for the film.

So, Ang made a serious movie with multiple Academy Award winner Clint Eastwood that is garnering early Oscar buzz. That must all be about Angelina and not about Clint's script or direction. Yes, it was smart of her to hitch herself to his wagon since the majority of her latest films have been flops. Wanted will open big but it's not just because people want to see her, it's because it looks like a really cool movie.
As for Jen, I don't know why you dislike her so much. Hopefully, her movie career will work out just fine. Perhaps the studio moved the release date of the film because people like you will turn it into some dumb Ang vs. Jen thing as opposed to seeing the film for itself.

Plus, do not underestimate the popularity of 'He's Just Not That Into You.' The book flew off the shelves, and this topic has a Sex In The City in built viewership, cachet and possible numbers that could take many people by surprise.

Re: Nosey – I don't know much as my friend signed strict confidentiality agreements. Ange is petrified of any bad press. But I do think Ange admitted to fertility treatments to have the twins. But I didn't get this infro from my friend - I read it in the news. All I get from my friend are personality traits. Like Ange is very impatient. She wants things done yesterday. She doesn't like waiting for things to happen - she thinks they should happen ASAP if she wants it. Ange has no patience so I can believe the reports in the news about fertility treatments. But Brad is also more caring and sweeter with the kids than Ange so in that department he and Ange are not compatible. Brad and Ange fight about her (lack of) parenting skills. It should be noted that He's Just Not That Into You was originally supposed to be released by New Line Cinema, which has just folded into Warner Bros. I think the date changes have more to do with WB trying to find space for all of New Line's films, not how good or bad it is.

The Changeling will bomb, just like A Mighty Heart did. It didn't get any awards at Cannes. The bad reviews are starting to pour in for Whorelina's movie Wanted. It drop on Rotten Tomatoes tomatometer since yesterday. The Chicago Tribune reviewer (it was filmed partly in Chicago) HATED it! She is not a good actress. You have to be honest, Jennifer Anniston is boring.
She needs to cultivate some personality.. … work on being PROPERLY funny, not just dumb funny…. that's what I'd do if I was her. Get her to do some stand-up, it would really stretch her. She's not being pushed hard enough, she'll never make any impact. She needs something which will really make her work hard, then maybe she'll develop her talent (not that Jolie's got any either mind you), then she can come back in 5 years with an amazing film and blow everyone away. The whole thing is like plots and character development but in real life, but this way she doesn't have to play the wronged woman. Life immitating art. Fuck I'm brilliant. Or maybe she should do some proper acting in a theatre, something to make her a bit edgy and give her some character, ya know ya total bunch of losers?! Then go in for the massive comeback. hate to burst your bubble but Angelina is way more succesful from Jennifer ANiston. While I like Jen, her movies have sucked! The ONLY successful movie ofthe five she did was The break up. Angie is by far way more talented than Jen on her best day. The Good girl, the object of my affections, along came Polly, Derailed, Rumor has it ALL BOMBED! What's worse is he wanted kids after Friends, she obviously didn't ( signing up for five movies) so Brd moved on and found a partner on his wavelength. I'm sorry but that marriage was over long before Angeina stepped in. I can't believe some pple didn't see that coming. He an Angie are in it for the long run.
We will never know how truly miserable Angelina and Brad are b/c Angelina will always have that fake smile permanently plastered on her face. You can see a hint of misery on Brad's face - he's not so good at hiding it. But Jolie is slick as snot. She won't let anyone know how miserable she is. She's probably trying to prove to her dad that she is not really mentally ill. I'm still surprised she hasn't ended up in a padded room by now. Brad must be taking everything on himself… aha! Jen is the love of John Mayers life and the soon to be father of her babies. If you look at the track records, John Mayer is a mucher better catch than Brad the Pitts. John is a much better, loyal, sensitive person. Brad is a confused lying psychopath.
