I don't think the interview was that awkward, she was actually kind of cute and charming, although her advice was about wearing underwear was a dumb response. At least she's promoting her movies, unlike many of her peers.
She is so adorable! Anything negative people have to say about her is based on the tabloids, really. Other than that, I think Dave has lost his knack for interviewing people. He's very condescending; treats the young Hollywood like they're idiots by asking inane questions.

PEREZ!! I've got some AWESOME news on the Olsen twins! You MUST read!!!!!! You know in the interview where mk says they spent their birthday in Tennessee? And they went to a festival called Bonnaroo? Well I live in Tennessee and my highschool is filled with tons of pot heads, so I've heard ALOT about Bonnaroo just from listening to their conversations and such. But basically, Bonnaroo is a big hippie party where people go to get high and drink and sleep around. And from what I've heard it's FULL of drugs. Sounds like what mk and ashley would think is fun for their birthday.
