this song is pretty good but the video kinda sucks

This video just adds more proof to the fact that Miley has no talent. If her dad wasnt famous(ish)…she wouldnt be either.

Hate is a strong word, but I really really really really don't like her.
I mean, seriously. She sucks! Her voice is NOT very good and it's completely mixed. Yeah, she might write her own stuff (most of the time) but that doesn't mean that it's not terrible. LOL how old are you? What is "weird" and "annoying" are people making comments and not spelling things correctly. It lessens your stance, and someone taking you seriously.
She is a teenager, if you are over 16, you can still like it, it just means you have a good memory of being that age. If you don't like it, you are too old to recall all those feelings, which is fine too.
As a High School English teacher, I can totally understand why teenagers like her, she sings about what is going on in the mind of a teenager. Your first crush, puppy love, stuck between being a kid and being an adult, parents pull here too, you are an adult when it suits you, and a kid when it suits them, peer pressure, break ups for the first time, trying everything for the first time. I think, Miley just related to every human (or humanoid) when that age.

And you've got to be kidding. I'm 18, and I remember having crushes and being disappointed about them when I was like 9 years old. So I like it. And she actually does have a great voice for her age. Yeah, it's raspy, but get over it. Her sounds is what's so unique about her.
