It actually wasnt AS BAD as I thought it was going to be, BUT this girl needs some damn rest in a locked room!!!!!
I thought she did pretty well considering what I've heard from her in the past!
considering everything…she did alright.
The back-up singers were the real stars of the show!
Instead of having "jazz hands" that chick ha jazz legs. they just wobble and wobble!
but i'm really glad to see that she's out there doing her thing, sure it wasn't her GREATEST performance, but it was something to show her part in the honor of Mandela. I'm still rooting for her to get her life together!
You can tell she's very ill (I'd rather have some meat on my bones than look like THAT). Her singing wasn't too bad…considering what she's been thru. Mr. P you used to be a huge Amy fine — what happened? The more positive you write (and others) - the more help she will get. Walking out of a store with small liquor bottles and cigs is probably not the best approach for this poor woman (who should definitely get rid of the cheap Blake hair pin).
I would never pay to go to an Amy Winehouse concert. I mean, was that supposed to be a performance???

I think Amy WInehouse was fantastic! So what, she doesn't trot around the stage and have the energy like most of the songstresses these days….but for a girl who is going through some serious medical conditons…she pulled this one off VERY well and her voice still sounds amazing!

Imagine being on stage with the whole world watching you and dying inside at the same time. She has to know she is blessed with talent and at the same time cursed with demons. We do not know what she has gone through in life. Perhaps she has been raped, molested or physically abused or maybe her soul is just simply hurting from past lives. There is always a reason for self-abuse and by medicating herself she is trying to mask the deep pain she either feels for herself or others.
It’s just like “us” to pick on the weak. Don’t look down onto somebody unless you are willing to help them up! We are just humans and we all have something we have had to work through – if not – well what’s the point?
I really believe we all ONE – the good, the bad and the ugly. I have nothing but hope for this young, talented woman. I have nothing but hope.
Perez: you shouldn't dog her for this. She did something positive, yes perhaps it wasn't up to her previous standards but it's better than sitting in some dingy room with a crack pipe fused to her lips. Maybe if she received more support for the positive steps she takes, she'd be more inclined to make them.
For those of you who disparage her for singing "Rehab": get over it. It's her biggest hit, it's the one people want to see, and based on her activities of late I don't think she really cares much whether something is appropriate or not. She's definitely grooving to her own drummer.
Aww, poor thing. I feel really sorry for her; she has so much talent, but she wasted it all on drugs. But on the other hand, it was all her own doing, so if she wants to screw up her mind and talent, that's her decision.

well shit Perez, I don't think it was a hot mess at all. all things considered, it's amazing she showed up and she did damn good. her illness and addiction are doubly sad because this bitch has one of the most distinctive voices of the past twenty years and can really sing. too bad she can't get it together - she would've been brilliant doing the theme for the Bond film. I ain't a prayin' woman, but it would be great if she could pull through this. I'm not so sure she wants to.

The real tragedy regarding Amy Winehouse is that although she signed on to be a recording artist (AN IMMENSELY TALENTED AND GENIOUS ONE AT THAT), at the very young and impressionable age of 24, she has had her entire life dissected under a microscope and dragged through the muck by bottom feeders and traders of her PERSONAL pain and suffering - which EVERYONE has by the way. U don't like AMY - Don't buy her records or tickets to her concerts, PERIOD, because that is what she signed on for - NOT THE HATE! ROCK ON AMY - DO YOUR THING - AND BY THE WAY, YOU KILLED IT!

They needed her to sing what she is famous for, unfortunately her song is about making all the wrong choices in her life. I love the song Rehab and bought her album hoping to find more to enjoy but its way to 50's burger diner pop for most of it. After seeing what a hot mess she is after buying it, I find it hard to listen to Rehab without thinking she made the wrong decision. On the other hand, Amy really believes she doesn't need rehab so maybe this is her way of reaffirming she still stands by what she had to say in the song. With a little spray tan she looks better but needs to get off the pipe and eat something.
She looks emotionless.
Considering she just got out of REAHAB, and her lungs happen to be scarred, she made a perfect showing. . .you fools have no class. . .
