Congratulations to Miz Angelina Jolie!

The very pregnant star had a HUGE opening this weekend - and it wasn't the twins trying to pop out.

Angie's film, Wanted, did huge business at the box office in America.

The movie made $51.1 million and….

- Wanted was the biggest opening of a live action film in Jolie's career
- It turned out to be the best June opening ever for an R-rated movie, beating Knocked Up's $30.6M, and the 6th highest R-rated opening of all time
- The studio expected only a $35+M opening, so the film did much better than anticipated
- Angie proved she is a big draw: Cinemascore said the main reasons given for choosing to see Wanted were the action (67%) and Jolie (61%).

We weren't able to see it this weekend, but we definitely wanna check out the pic this week.

It's been getting great reviews!

If this shitty, derivative, ultra-violent piece of crap "broke" records, how come you're the only one reporting it, Perez? And listen up, Brangeloonies: you don't have to be an Aniston fan to see right through Angelina Jolie. The only thing she seems capable of doing is pouting and strutting. Take away the CGI in this movie, and Jolie would look as ridiculous as she did in Lara Croft.

PEREZ, ARE YOU GETTING SUCKED OFF BY A LOONY OR SOMETHING? OR, HAVE YOU GONE OVER TO THE DARK SIDE? WTF? THIS MOVIE SUCKED! WHY ARE YOU REPORTING THIS COMPLETE NONSENSICAL BULLSHIT? IS IT PART OF YOUR DEAL WITH THE DEVIL?

    308

The movie is terrible. However, she is lovely, but a bit skinny in it.

  9. Laura says – reply to this

    309

This movie was TERRIBLE! She was badazz, but way too skinny, and James McAvoy was good, but neither of them could have saved this movie! Come on, Loom of Fate, what is that shiz?! The Changeling better be great, cause she needs to re-establish some cred (if that is even possible after mr. & mrs. smith, tombraider, etc.). awwwwfuuuuul!

fuck all u angelina jolie haters…she is a sexy, bad ass bitch who gives a shit about the world around her and doesn't keep her head stuck in her ass like half of hollywood. The movie was equally bad ass with the final lines summed up the point the producers/directors/writers are trying to make…we are all socially mind fucked by the corrupt few who possess absolute power and just like the rich snobs of "teen slut town" we need to get our heads out of our asses and "do something with ourselves, otherwise our existence is pathetically unnecessary."

    315

Saw it Saturday. LOVED IT. Loved Angie - Loved James - Loved Morgan (at the end) LOVED IT. And it was funny. People were clapping at the end. The one liner delivered by James McAvoy at the closing of the movie, was the best since Arnold said 'I'll be back'. Go see it P, I won't spoil it for ya'll.

Re: K – you're right K, I like Angie, but I went to see and support James. So glad it did well.

    317

THIS MOVIE BLOWED!!!!. There were so many things wrong. Somehow an ice-cream truck keeps up with a viper…and so much more bullshit… SO MUCH MORE. It is way over the top, so over the top its just stupid and hard to watch, oh and the audience gets insulted at the end of the movie. Angelina Jolie needs to eat. The dialogue blows, the storey blows. The physics of curving a bullet is impossible and they get their…job from a LUME!!!! (that makes mistakes but somehow thats fait) DO NOT GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!

  18. bob says – reply to this

    318

The storey is retarded, he kilss his dad who they say was trying to save him but he didn't know he was his dad…………..but at one point this father man was trying to actually kill him, angelina jolie was not in the picture (who this dad was apparently trying to kill) so that whole part of the story blows..and seriously…morgan freeman?…i feel sorry for him…he did a movie like this………………its SO BAD, SO SO BAD. The impossibility of 90% of things that occur in this movie is so..high its ridiculous. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

    1. Wall-E $63,087,526 (total) - 3,992 (theaters) - $15,803 (avg per screen) $180M (budget)
    2. Wanted $50,927,085 (total) - 3,175 (theaters) - $16,040 (avg per screen) $75 (budget)

If wanted had played in the same number of theaters it would have made an additional $13,104,680 and won the BO with a total of $64,031,765.

    323

angelina jolie was good in the film, but she was not hot! she looked so skinny and bony!…BUT…it was a great movie, and james mcavoy was kinda hot in it…the guy that played his real father was hotter tho!

  24. Sigh says – reply to this

    324

Well, gee, I think Academy Award winning actor, Morgan Freeman is also in the film, not to mention a few other actors, right? This is the character in which Jolie is always believable - a cold hearted, duplicitous, bitch, assassin. How many times will she play this charcter though? It's not as if she can act in any other role though…sigh.

    325

I saw the movie WANTED 3 times with different ppl and they all LOVED it and said they want to see it again! Great movement of action, great acting, wonderful soundtrack and I too heard an audible noise of pleasant reaction when Angelina came onto the screen. Every scene that she was in… your eyes are naturally drawn to her. James McEvoy did a good job as well…but I would have never seen it if Angie werent in the movie. People in the U.S. who say the movie would have made as much money if Angie wasnt in it is just fooling themselves…

ITS A GREAT MOVIE!…There's great plot twists…and a catchy ending. Many people in the theatre clapped with appreciation for the ride when the movie was over.

  26. itsda says – reply to this

    326

As for the people who have posted hateful and negative comments about Angie, you give yourself away as being a jealous, unhappy, and mentally unstable bunch of hags with the nausiatingly repetitive accusations of catchwords like 'whore', 'homewrecker (Jen hadnt built any home to wreck), and accusing someone who already WON an academy award of being a 'bad actor'…

..Angie's a tremendously versitle & unique actor to be able to play sensitive and dramatic roles like GIRL INTERUPTED and A MIGHTY HEART, then turning around and playing a badass shoot em up girl in WANTED!!…anyone denying that is a HATER and a dumbass. Most of her films that may not get Box office end up being critical successes…and most critics agree that even when she's in a BAD film…she is interesting to watch. Not many actresses could have pulled off her career…

…I certainly couldnt see CHINNIFER MANISTON on the hood of a car bustin a cap in someones ASS!!…that'll never happen…cause Jennochio's too busy trying to maintain being 'americas sweetheart'…

Angie could care less about being anything but BRAD'S SWEETHEART!!! HA!…CANT WAIT FOR THE TWINS!!!

Oh wow, she is hot. Looks a lot like my friends Tiffany Clause and Sarah Afshar. She is so gorgeous and talented. Definitely the hottest and most controversial woman in the entertainment industry.

jennifer aniston is the ugliest woman i have ever seen. she is tanorexic and has a chin that gives the wicked witch in wizard of oz a run for her money. she nasty! i would love to shake brad pitt's hand for scoring the hottest chick on the planet, ms. angelina jolie!

  34. Chexx says – reply to this

    334

Angelina is gorgeous. The only people that say she is ugly are ugly bitter tanorexic old ladies with sagging jowls and stinky pussies who fear an Angelina will come and steal and fuck their man. I hope it happens you fat old cows.

  35. tomca says – reply to this

    335

Ange broke the 'Best Supporting Actress winner curse" for sure!!!!

Jen Aniston has to grow up and stop playing 29 y/o cry baby "I want a perfect man" roles as in 'Friends with Money', 'Breakup', 'Good Girl', and TV show "Friends". She is G-damned 39 fucking y/o! "Not into you" is more sit com whiney girls drivel and it will be release on her fucking 40th b-day!!

Grow up and play a lawyer, doctor, or WOMAN!

  36. tomca says – reply to this

    336

    Oh more on Rachel/Jen

The best acting she has done was when she was blown to bits in "Derailed". She has to get her hands dirty and play more powerful women, like a bitchy lawyer or politican. Or better yet, next "Catwoman" or a villianess in an action flick to get her ass kicked by Cherlize Theron or Halle Berry.
