I didn't realize that the United States has so many uneducated morons. It's not Bush's fault that the gas is so high. What is he supposed to do about the rising gas prices? Is he supposed to tell the companies "Hey I am the president of the United States and I want the gas prices a certain price". The president does not have anything to do with the gas prices. Take an economics class or go to Barnes and Noble and buy a book on economics and read the chapter on Supply and Demand. There's your reason for the rising gas prices. Everyone in the US should consider themselves lucky right now. The average gas here is a little over $4 a gallon. We could be paying $10 a gallon like the people in Europe are paying. But our time is coming when the morons here elect Obama as our president. Everyone thinks times are tough now. Just wait until he is elected and our taxes go up. He has already said he will raise taxes on the oil companies. The gas prices will defintely rise then. I have to say I can't wait until the idiots in the US elect that stupid radical as president. U guys will only be getting what ya deserve. Rising taxes and even more rising gas prices. Then you idiots will defintely have something to complain about.

Well, you still pay less than half the price we pay here in Europe for a gallon. That's the reason we have smaller and gas-saving cars.
For a gallon we pay here in Germany 5,92 Euro (7,78 Dollar!).

We still have big cars in OZ and are paying close to $1.70 per litre! Sucks to be a Diesel buyer.. they are almost $2.00 a Litre!!

Hey douches, I'm glad you enjoy your $80 per gallon gas, now STFU. The fact is our towns and cities are spread out. Our population is over 300 million people. It takes me driving 5 miles just to get to a gas station. I have to drive 15 miles to get my kids to school. My self-employment job requires that I drive all over Northern California on a daily basis. I have to pay a grand per month in gas now and my earnings aren't increasing. You don't think we should complain when the price of gas rises 100% since the Liberals took office in '06? Eff You! Other than a few cities like San Fran and NYC, our cities are a lot diffent than yours and we don't have subways or rail systems. Everything we need to sustain ourselfs in not on the same block as it is in your putrid countries. Moreover, our currency is different than yours. So again, STFU!
Stop driving so much, drive fuel-efficient cars, stop taking unnecessary airline flights, and then maybe the price will come down.

Please do not complain. In scandinavia the price is over 2 dollars per 1 liter. To make it clear fo you americans 1 gallon is 4,5 liters. So we pay much much much more than you!!!!!!!!!We have to pay about 8 dollars to get 1 gallon of gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your gas prices are cheap here in the uk its costing us £6 a gallon that works out to around $12 a gallon try paying that.

Ok i think you all need some facts… America has 300 million people the uk has 60plus million, the uk would fit into the US 31 times, the uk pays 4 times the amount for petrol to that of the US, yes we get paid more but that doesn't mean we have any more money spare…. I travel 30 miles so don't talk about just because our contry is small thats crap, we don't live right next to our work..yes americans have it bad… but the rest of the world has had petrol prices rising for the last ten years or more at ridiculous rates. Americans have MASSIVE CARS!!!! the rest of the world has discovered the power of small economical cars. Could you people stop whining please. Gas here in South Africa has just gone up 72c which makes it about R11 per litre. Just to put that into perspective for you, I only earn R3 500 per month. To fill my tank up is over R400, and to get to work and back for the month I have to fill up 4 times a month. So About half my salary is spent on petrol.
$4.08 isnt bad anymore…in upstate ny we pay at least $4.34 for regular, $5.19 for deisel…….
