A reporter for Glamour hung out with Lauren Conrad recently, cuz she was forced to.
She wants us to know the following about LC:
- As with all celebs, seemed way shorter/thinner in person. Also, tanner.
- Seemingly really sweet/almost a little shy. I wasn't getting stuck-up vibes. When I needed to find the ladies' room, she walked me there, despite 10 publicists who could have done so instead.
- Shockingly well-spoken considering the inane dialogue we generally see her involved in on The Hills.
If we were Lauren, we'd be pissed that MTV 'reality' was making us look like a clueless bitch.

I believe the reporter. The Hills is scripted and edited, so obviously it only shows the viewers what they want us to see and then forces us to form our opinions on biases, when in fact we really don't know what they are like in real life. It really must be tough to be a celebrity these days.

Hey Perez, I met u at a recent charity event here in LA and LC was there too. I talked to her for a little bit and I have to totally agree with the article. She was super sweet, seemed interested in ME (shocker!) and what I had to say and answered all my questions and took a picture with me. As we've all heard about The Hills it's not really "Reality" - they're more like characters based on themselves. So I can totally see it being true…Now Heidi and Spencer - there is NO HELP for those tools!!! They were there too and they were JACK-ASSES!!!

I actually met Lauren on a flight from LA to Chicago 3 weeks ago and she was incredibly rude and mean. I saw her get on the flight and when we landed, we taxied for a while and I finally got the courage to go up to first class to ask her for a picture. My mom forgot the camera back at our seats and when she went to go get it, I tried talking to her and she made rude comments including making fun of people who live in Indiana. Then when my mom came back and took the picture, Lauren wasn't even looking at the camera…she was texting. When we finally got to the terminal she was so wasted she couldn't walk through the terminal. At baggage claim her manager couldn't get a limo (we landed in indianaplis b/c there was a storm in chicago) and she said "I'm lauren conrad, I don't drive in rented cars….I take limos".
I used to love her and was one of her biggest fans but she treated me with no respect and acted like she was the shit. Seriously, without people like me and her fans…she wouldn't be living the life she does and she would NOT be famous. She needs to get a reality check and remember that it's her fans that made her famous…it wasn't anything she did. I am no longer Team Lauren, it's Team Audrina for me and my friends from now on. : )

The reporter is correct. I didn't personally meet Lauren but I did see/observe her at a Lisa Kline event for Rowdy clothing and she was very chill but cordial, no stuck up vibes and indeed was thinner and shorter in person! She wasn't giving any sort of tude and was just hanging with friends and being social. She def gets a bad rap, but her fashion is EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! Good for volume price market though! haha

I've always really liked Lauren Conrad. Although it's a television show you can still tell she's genuine. Spencer is an asshole and he ruined Heidi. Why doesn't anyone see that Lauren saw this and tried to stop it? She was being an AMAZING friend by trying to get Heidi to end her relationship with him. He's psycho and that relationship is DOOMED. Or, well, not anymore, since she's morphed into a female version of Spencer. If I was LC, I would've done the same.
