A reporter for Glamour hung out with Lauren Conrad recently, cuz she was forced to.
She wants us to know the following about LC:
- As with all celebs, seemed way shorter/thinner in person. Also, tanner.
- Seemingly really sweet/almost a little shy. I wasn't getting stuck-up vibes. When I needed to find the ladies' room, she walked me there, despite 10 publicists who could have done so instead.
- Shockingly well-spoken considering the inane dialogue we generally see her involved in on The Hills.
If we were Lauren, we'd be pissed that MTV 'reality' was making us look like a clueless bitch.

I always liked LC she seems like the coolest out of all of them.

I saw her in Canada on Much Music, yes she is pretty in person but small. She is so regal, when she walked in everybody was clapping, there is something about her that makes her look so innocent, you like her the first time you see her. I don't know if she is a bitch but that's not the impression I got when I saw her. She is very very shy though.

I've always loved Lauren…she's really done a lot for herself. I think the problem on the show is that she's surrounded by really shallow, fame-hungry people that only want to use her to further their own agendas. Heidi and Spencer…enough said. Well I love Lauren, I think she's beautiful, successful, and very fortunate to have the opportunity to be on MTV which led to her celeb status. As for those of you who don't like her, just let her be, don't watch her show. Heidi and her man whore are simply using the feud with Lauren to make themselved talked about. Heidi is jealous that she's NOT pretty or successful like Lauren. I think LC is a very well-educated girl. Shes gona to college, comes from a down-to-earth family. She seems to be a very sweet , kinda shy girl, and we love her way! Dispite the fact that she doesnt do drugs nor gets wasted or carried out like other young ppl in Hollywood. Kudos for Lauren!

If you watched Laguna Beach you would have seen that LC appeared more down to earth than most of the other kids in laguna. I don't see her as an airhead etc… on the Hills, but not sure why she has such relationship probs. Maybe she is to nice, which can be a curse. and nice is boring so MTV rather than have her appear too nice have her appear filghty and bitchy… Just my guess and opinion…

Why was she forced to hang out with Lauren? Maybe that'd explain why she was nice with her. And maybe it's not reality but they have to do something with the show because it was getting very boring at the end of season 3.

I think Lauren seems really nice and normal in The Hills as well, but of course she must be even nicer in the real life. But I mean that Lauren's nice character is transmitted well in the series well. Love Lauren Conrad, just ordered a gorgeous dress from her collection.
I'm not to sure how to feel about LC. There are certain things about her I just dont like..how she always has something to say about her friends significant others, and if she doesnt like them, she makes it known and gets upset, but when she was dating a loser she didnt seem to mind. She can be a major hypocrite sometimes!
i believe this. i met lauren at the justin timberlake concert at msg. she couldn't have been any nicer to me. she stopped watching the show, took a picture, and we had an entire conversation about the show, her clothing line, and other stuff…. the only vibe i got from her was "awkward" and that was only bc of the obvious…she was in the middle of msg talking to a complete stranger, with lots of people staring at her screaming her name.

Agee 100%. The girl is all class and in two short years she has become a budding icon for the cool young Hollywood crowd. Her line is doing very well and she clearly has her head screwed on straight, has ambition, and works hard. I actually think Heidi also has ambition and drive, but she's obviously lacking that sense of cool and class. I mean, those cheesy Pacific Coast staged photo shoots, while making her easy money, are killing her chances of acceptance by the mass media. She's seen as a joke rather than a serious whatever she is. Thats unfortunate because she can be cool and she is of course very photogenic. Anyway, Lauren's cool and the girl's got it all working for her right now.
