Shannen Doherty is in talks to reprise her role as Brenda on the new 90210 spin-off.
YES!!!!!!!
The producers behind the new show recently met with the actress to discuss gauge her interest in the possibility of returning to West Beverly High.
And by all accounts, she is interested. "But, she wants to know what the story is going to be first." She also wants more money than they're apparently offering.
Pay her!!! It's Brenda!

If the producers, etc… were smart, they would pay Shannen WHATEVER she wants to reprise Brenda's role. Think about how smart that would be….without Brenda and maybe a few other former castmates of the original, they would have the teey-bopper audience ONLY. WITH HER, they would at least DOUBLE their viewership with all the 30 somethings (plus the teeny-boppers) !! Why wouldn't they want our (30 somethings) viewership?!?! Brenda is the most vital former castmate they need, then Kelly, then Donna and then Dillon and Brandon and then maybe David would be awesome, too. They do NOT need to bring back Steve or Andrea - who cares where life has taken them. Brenda should be the crazy, bitchy, slutty next door neighbor of the new main character's house (Lori Laughlin). Kelly should work at the school in a consistent role, Donna should be the socialite owner of the cooest boutique in The Hills. Dylan should come back from his pro-surfing career and be involved with both Brenda and Kelly AGAIN. They should let me write the pilot and first year!!!!!!!

I LOVED That woman (and actually met her when I was 17 and again at 20 and she was so awesome). I hope they pay her and she rocks the show like she did in the 90's. This really is great news.
