Not the first time she butcheredd a classic remember 'all i want for christmas' and her interperation of that, yeah miley likes to fuck things up.

It's obv not as good as the original but it's not horrible as such.. more for younger girls.

by speeding it up, they took all the emotion out of the song. i like the drumming, but all the emotion. in the original, it's like lauper is telling a secret, a confession, and proclaiming it. this song has no emotion. when she mentions her dad saying "what are you gonna do with your life," it's like she doesn't even care that he's saying it. in the original, there's a hint of pain. it's like so hollow.
I'm sorry - Cyndi Lauper owns that song.
