Looks like being married to Tom Cruise is doing nothing for Katie Holmes' 'career'.
According to new reports, Broadway insiders say that early signs reveal that there's no public interest in seeing Katie on the Great White Way as Ann Deever in All My Sons.
Sources involved in the production are reportedly beginning to fret that ticket sales aren't going to be as strong as they'd hoped.
Some people say Katie should get naked on stage, like the ex-Mrs. Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, in the successful Broadway run of The Blue Room.
Sounds like a good idea to us…that would definitely help generate interest!
Behind the scenes, the All My Sons cast and crew are buzzing about the confidentiality agreement they've all been forced to sign. Looks like Katie's Scientology handlers don't want anything crazy to get out!
The report also says that Tom Cruise has been 'putting out feelers to theater producers' about doing a Broadway play, too.
Cruise is asserted to be in, 'career recovery, which usually means a visit to Broadway at some point.'

Scientology's "big leader," LRonBlubbard, was a drug addict and a space-book writer, a real freak of nature who actually thought he was god. actually that's not true. katie was actually doing well before she married tom. she was getting better roles and she was growing as a actress and we started to see different sides of her. she was in 'batman begins' and as a former hater of her i have to say i like her in that movie she played her role well.
but after meeting tom, she backed out of doing dark knight and she started picking dumb movies to be in like 'mad money' which bombed big time.
since she been with tom her career has gone down.
wow - this is the first time I have seen her without TOM propping her up!

Will the audience be required to sign non-disclosure agreements as well? Perhaps a guarantee not to ask for our money back, and not to sue the producers would be appropriate in this case.
I for one won't be bothering with this production, and I doubt very much the average discriminating theatre-goer in NYC will be fooled into attending. This being said, perhaps $cientology can fly in it's supposed "eight million members and growing daily" on DC8's for the festivities.
