It must be Angelina Jolie madness in Paris today.
Reports are now surfacing that Jolie's doctor, Michel Sussmann, says her twins will most likely be delivered "in the weeks to come."
Ange is currently in the hospital - only under surveillance, he stressed, - not due to any medical emergency.
Her doctor continues, "Her hospitalisation at this stage of her pregnancy is strictly normal for someone who underwent a caesarean in her first pregnancy.
Just think about it…
In less than a few weeks, Brangelina will have 6 kids!

Re: Kit – It is actually very routine to admit woman into a hospital when pregnant with twins. They'll probably do internal monitoring of the babies to make sure everything is ok. Also she has probably been ordered to bedrest, and a lot of the time they will admit just for that reason alone. It also could be something as simple as pregnany induced hypertention, our gestational diabetes which would be more complicated because she is carrying twins.
Whats not nessasary is having four rooms "reserved" for yourself like it's some sort of hotel.

actually, I had twins and was required to stay in hospital for the last eleven weeks of my pregnancy. This is completely normal for multiple births. It could be anything. It doesn't necessarily mean that there is any imminent change to her status or risk to her babies. It could be as simple as one or both twins bieng breech. Twins obstetricians are way more likely to play it very safe as far as bedrest goes. She probably just has a very good doctor.
as a nurse i can state that it's not normal for someone to be hospitalized weeks before giving birth because of a previous c-section. nope. Either something is up or she is close to birthing the babies.

I had twins and had to go to the hospital 6 weeks early for high blood pressure and possible preeclampsia. She's not there because its "normal" to wait in the hospital for a few weeks bc she's having a c section. Something like high bp or contractions is the reason she is in there and they want her off her feet until the babies are well off enough to be delivered. They'll probably do a amnio at some point to see how developed the babies lungs are and decide from that along with her other symptoms when to deliver, unless mother nature decides first. I do believe she lives for publicity but not on this occasion. Hopefully they are making her EAT more. Also, sometimes celebrities have to have csections bc they have herpes. I'm not saying she does. I'm just saying.

something is going on there. i've had twins after having another child first. i went to 37 weeks before popping with no hospital stay monitoring and the first twin was breach which is medically concerning. why would you need to be monitored in the hospital vs. your own home/chateau? you'd only need to be in the hospital if there were medical concerns that needed to be watched very closely. a c-section scar should have nothing to do with it…those babies will drop down b/c of gravity not pop out a c-section scar. something is up.

I just have to laugh at this crazy couple.
They live like nomads, moving from one locale to another. This must give their kids a real sense of stability. Imagine when they want to go outside and play with friends - ah! All they have are nannies.

Without a clear indication for delivery, waiting until labor or until after 38 weeks'gestation should be considered. Angelina's hospital admittance, at this stage, is not uncommon.

I know for a fact that it is not standard to be hospitalized when pregnant with twins after having had a c-section, at least in the U.S., because I was in the same boat. I only went to the hospital on the day the twins were born. But then again, I'm not Angelina Jolie.
I hope everything turns out well for this family. They are a marvelous, unique couple who use there celeb status for better purposes besides laying around the pool all day long or getting wasted, drugged up. It's nice to know there are celebs in this world that do more than the typical hollywood lifestyle.
