I am siding with Pete on this one. There is no place for racism and hate in this society. It is hard to believe that there are still stupid racists out there. Is he railing against some genocide or rampant exploitation of helpless, 3rd world sweatshop underage slaves? No. No one who understands real suffering has time for worring about petty words. That a luxury and benefit of life without real pain. Those who are truly oppressed are fantasizing about a world where the worst that could happen is being called a name. In fact, part of their struggle is the freedom to call anybody, particularly their oppressors with the vilest names in recorded history without getting their nails pulled from their fingers. Pete is no moral crusader. Someone with such a misguided sense of justice does more harm to freedom than expand it. His anger is very Hollywood. It's fashionable, safe, cool, artificial, and just overdramatic.

Canada's laws and CHRC are a joke, wherein a person can find themselves litigated and prosecuted by various jurisdictions for the same "offense" costing thousands of dollars. Clearly, it is the "Thought Police" in the rule, which dictates what comments, which most normal reasoning person would consider within journalistic commentary, it dictates which comments, may be unflattering to a person or group, regardless of a factual base. Try to comment on Radical Islam in Canada…all form of commentary will be dead, there and many other places. Free Speech, as well as additional civil rights, should never be compromised or supressed. (Oh, of course I am not speaking about shouting fire in a crowded theatre, etc.)

what the guy said was wrong, but N_gg_r is just a slang word taken from the spanish word Negro which means black. I am black, but I think there was a little bit of an over reaction going on here. I do like GCH and all those bands.
