I was going to vote for him because he is a dynamic speaker and so likeable until I read the article about him in "Fortune Magazine" July 7, 2008 issue . I will vote republican for the first time in my life. He will take our country back to the 1970-80s era of double digit inflation, double digit unemployment, and economic depression with his tax policies. Read about his policies and judge for yourself.

A candidate who can't win over his own party certainly can't win over the country. The traits and flaws which make him an unacceptable candidate to roughly a third of Dems will make him an unacceptable candidate to a majority of Americans. This isn't meant to bash him, it's meant to be honest. Obama has fared poorly in big, electorally rich states in his quest for the nomination. The reasons for that are only going to be exacerbated when he faces independents and Republicans: Obama is a black nationalist with a condescending attitude toward people who are different from him and, just for good measure, he has the most liberal voting record in the Senate.
