Not only can Demi actually sing live but she also sounds good and was playing the piano!

YOU CALL THIS GOOD?! why is this girl doing runs in a song where she has no damn backup singers?! Has no one told her the runs are making this - already annoying — song sound like she is rushing her way through?!
Also, she isn't the best singer…she was FLAT and OUT OF KEY in half of the song — don't give me the excuse…oh it's early in the morning… bitches, please a good singer is a good singer.
Demi Lovato thinks she is a GREAT singer because she can SHOUT and SCREAM high notes. Hitting high notes DOESNT MAKE YOU A GOOD SINGER. I would pick Brooke Fraser over Mariah, Christina, and Whitney ANY FUCKING DAY.

What is Perez's fascination with youngsters? Have you got a case of the Michael Jacksons? Seriously. these are KIDS who can barely hold a tune but have seasoned professionals backing them (courtesy of Disney). It is corporate amerika trying to force feed sludge down the thoats of kids who don't know any better. Either Perez is owned by Disney, or he really is fascinated with young kids. I'm not sure which is creepier, but neither is acceptable.

demi sucked! she had trouble holding a note and had absolutely no stage presence. so, the girl can play the piano, she can't perform and shes not cute. miley is a straight up performer, she gets the attention of the crowd and is a STAR. she hasnt got a voice like christina aguilera, but she does have talent. lets not kid ourselves just because we all love disney and their poppy tween movies are everyones guilty pleasures, the girl sucked and choked on her high notes, the end.

She's better then Miley, but she has some issues with singing in the correct key….
I'm a bit mixed on this..she sings kind of like the Jonas brothers - loud and breathy. It's obvious that she takes the easy road to get the high notes by yelling her lungs out. I'm no expert on this..but, I'm pretty sure she'll end up damaging her vocal cords.

Sorry but she doesn't do a thing for me. She's cute but WTF was with all the moaning/singing in the beginning? Her breathing is way off and annoying and she couldn't hit some of the lower notes at all. She's got an ok voice and I think with some more training she'll do well, but right now I don't consider her "amazing" or "fantastic" or anything else but ok.
