Coming Back To TV!

Sitcom legend Michael J. Fox is THISCLOSE to signing a deal to appear on several episodes of FX's Rescue Me.
An FX spokesperson confirms that Fox is in talks for the role but insists that "no deal is done yet."
In the multi-episode story arc, Fox would play a love interest for Denis Leary’s on-screen ex, Janet (Andrea Roth).
Leary and Fox are longtime friends.
An official announcement is expected soon.

That is awesome news!!! He has been off our screens for too long! But how will he control his condition? Will there be alot of hands in pockets like Spin City?

I'm so glad to hear he is coming back. I love MJ's acting chops, he is not only a great actor, but also a great person. He's considerate and kind, very easy to like.

Omg, that would be fab to see MJF on telly! We sure could get more people with disabilities in normal casting situations, but b/c they have a disability but b/c they're fab actors whether they have a disability! No more "normal" actors playing characters with disabilities.

We are the most forgiving nation of people on this entire planet, along with the Dutch. How do you think people like Robert Downey would be allowed to have a comeback? We give everyone a chance. Regardless of race or state or background, Americans all own this common denominator. If you travel to other countries abroad & you see other Americans in Asia, Europe or Africa, there is a special understanding, even between people who are different races. God Bless Americans.

Thank you. You have proved me wrong. You have shown there is kindness within your country. I apologize. I may have misjudged your country. It just saddens me the shallowness has a spot light shown on it. Outsiders view that as a huge weakness. It appears many in my country value family, friends, not possessions or our beauty. I worked with him as well. I was younger then, a bit green. I thought he just acted that way because he was so much more experienced than I was. I figured if I worked with him now that I am seasoned he would be different. So when I read your comment TT I had to wonder… would if be different now? Since he hasn't worked in a while, and has had a lot of medical issues, do you think he would be softer? I remember the diva fits! WOW that was my first real experience in this town! I quickly learned what not to do! I just never had the guts to speak out, because of how ill he has become.

Wow, that's such a generalization! I don't put people down and I teach my children to always be kind and generous. My family and friends are my world and I know a majority of people feel the same way. It's sad to know that you and others would be rude to me JUST because I'm an American

Ok, his real name is Michal A. Fox, but got rid of the A in favor of the J when his career started cause the real seemed to open for jokes, right.
As for coming back to TV, please don't . . I love him , but am uneasy and unable to watch him because of his degenerative illness. I would like to remember him from 10 or so years ago when he was in controll of his body. Certainly he doesn't need the money does he?
His wife comes from money and they don't seem to live an extravigant lifestyle so money should not be a problem.
