FINALLY! I was starting to really hate Lauren because of all the fakeness surrounding The Hills…but for once, here's something that's not fake! This is what REAL girls look like. I am a size four and my legs look just like hers despite watching what I eat and working out. People just see the air brushed version of Hollywood and put them on a pedestal. I think that this is a great way to show that they actually ARE really people. Granted, I'm sure Lauren doesn't love being viewed this way, but at least it helps normal people like me feel a little better about wearing shorts in the summer. So even though the show is fake, thanks for being real Lauren!
Why are people saying that this is photo shopped? There are plenty of young slim women that I see everyday who have cellulite on their thighs and asses. As many have already stated, sometimes due to lighting, the cellulite is just more visible, as in this case.
okay cellulite is primarily genetic. naturally if someone has more fat its going to look worse but the fat for some reason that doctors havent figured out gets tripped in a thin layer under the skin and doesnt get burned off like the other vcorrectly deposited fat so the dimpled texture occurs. the older you get the more deposits there are. personally as a young person whos very in shape. i notiice the more : toned i am the worse it actually looks because the tightened muscle pushes the cellulite outward. if you go to the doctor they will tell you theres really not much to be done besides spa treatments that inject things directly into the layer so it gets burned off and massage i think can sometimes dislodge the deposit ex. in short plent of in shape people have cellulite. it used to not even be recognized as a medical tem until vogue magazine coined it. so this whole ew gross thats not normal is all socially constructed.

First of all who the heck is Lauren Conrad? What a joke. I hate seeing her (or any of the girls from the Hills for that matter) in any time of media. She is NOT a celebrity show me someone else.
Yeah to me, this definitely looks fake…but I'm not getting into that. Cellulite IS a very weird thing, and you CAN have it skinny or fat, toned or not. The real trick is to make sure you eat right. Cellulite is caused by the breaking down of collagen which causes the ripple looking effect. But if you get the right proteins in your body, you can prevent it and/or get rid of it. I'm sure almost everyone, unless you're a guy, that reads the site has cellulite…it's very natural and is unfortunately categorized as "ugly", but the fact is, everyone has a little. A good way for a quick fix is to moisturize and massage the parts where you have it.
