On Wednesday, Pamela Anderson checked in to the Australian Big Brother house as its ‘surprise’ (not so surprise) celebrity guest.

It’s no secret that Oz’s BB ratings have been lagging.

Before Pammy entered the house, she announced at a news conference that when she leaves the Big Bro house on Thursday, she’s heading to an Australian KFC restaurant to protest against the company’s treatment of chickens.

BUT, get this, KFC is a major sponsor of Big Brother in Oz!!!

Hypocrite?

The boobalicious blonde is getting LOADS of money to appear on the show — some say up to $500K.

She said she was unaware that KFC was a major sponsor of Big Brother before she signed up for the role. “Every show has a bunch of sponsors and it’s not something you look into when you are offered a job,” she said. “But it’s kind of interesting, it’s a coincidence.”

Pammy strutted into the house decked out in a “Baywatch bathing suit red” dress AND according to Perezcious readers in Oz, big bruises on her arm.

The Playboy cover girl revealed that cameras from her own reality show, Pam: Girl on the Loose, would be following her in the house, and one of the ‘suprises’ for the housemates would involve a calendar shoot of the bombshell.

Unfortunately, there will be no Pammy nakedness. She’s vowed to keep her clothes on.
